Introduction: Picaflor Cakes stands apart from other cakes because I torte (double fill) all my cakes. This is something regular cake decorators do not do because it is more labor intensive. But I believe that it makes each slice of cake better since the there is more balance between cake and filling ratios. I love cutting and eating cake! That may sound a little silly but for me it really is the best part. Mixing, baking, decorating is all part of a delicious process to make yummy cake possible!

Almost every single time I've tasted cake not made by Pica, I am reminded why I love hers so much. You really have to taste it for yourself to understand this. Her cakes are not drowning in fondant, so the cake actually tastes amazing. Always a great balance in every bite.

A "Christmas Story" cake, that was styled like the lampshade that featured so much in the movie.....came out great! Creative, Imaginative, On Time and On Budget too! The cake was a hit for the party and a success all around. Pica is wonderful to work with, skilled, and easy to work with!!! Five Stars!

    Cakes are always priced per serving. My cakes are torted (double filled) it is what makes a cake a Picaflor Cake. Cakes are priced very comparable to other bakeries/bakers that use this method.

    Yes. I feel that it is important to learn new techniques and stay current with what is the latest trends.
