Last summer I decided I was ready to look into exercise assist type options - gym, personal trainer, classes, etc. During my search, I came across Keleigh at Balanced Strength. I liked the idea of being able to work out in a home-based setting, and she had excellent reviews, so I emailed her. She was prompt in her reply and very courteous. I met with Keleigh the following week and I learned just how challenging Pilates is. But I liked it enough to go back . Keleigh creates challenging workouts, but she's also very good at making sure you rest when you need to. And if something doesn't feel right during any part of the workout, she's good at making instant modifications to avoid injury. Keleigh is also good about changing things up. Minus a few scheduling conflicts, I've seen her weekly for 6 months now and have only repeated a couple of exercises that I can remember. We have also incorporated a few HIIT workouts and even a hybrid of HIIT with Pilates. I have struggled with liking exercise my entire life, but I actually look forward to my weekly sessions with Keleigh. I highly recommend her!

The quality of expertise in the field of Pilates, as in the school of Joseph Pilates, at WK Pilates is unsurpassed. This team of Pilates coaches are all world class, top-ranked and exhibit the highest degrees of professionalism and commitment to their clients' long term well being. They will fix posture, weight, flexibility and strength issues. I almost an inch taller from just working my core and fixing my posture than I was a year ago. I can get up and down off the floor with ease now, and am now working towards being able to do full splits again. I cannot think of anything lacking, nor anything I would change, about them in their ability to train and fix my issues. The atmosphere at the studio is focused and full of positive energy.

Since I have been doing private Pilates on the machines for over 12 yrs., I have experienced several different instructors. Helen Falco is by far one of my 2 favorites which I base on knowledge, technique, professionalism, teaching ability. My other fav is in Mi. where I spend the summer. While in Az. I will not go to anyone but Helen. I fact I sought her out after she moved away from my locale and I drive to her new place. She is reliable, courteous, fun and yet serious about doing all the moves correctly. Why would anyone go to someone else?!

I have been working with Chelsea for approximately a year and a half. I attend private lessons using the reformer and Pilates mat work. I am very athletic and enjoy running, weight lifting, strength and endurance training, TRX and Tabata. My form, balance and posture really needed expert coaching and training. I have worked with personal trainers weekly for years now but I needed someone who could embrace and support my active lifestyle and help me perform at the athletic levels I aspired to. Chelsea is the real deal. Her professional education, years as a dancer and instructor along with her own athletic training and lifestyle is all you will need no matter what your goals or dreams may be. I was looking for a reformer pilates class for my cousin and myself in the Mesa area. Vanessa Kelly responded to my request right away with an amazingly reasonable package which included the first session free to be sure we'd be happy. Our instructor, Torrin Alford is delightful and extremely knowledgable taking extra care that movements are done correctly and not straining any body parts! There are 3 reformer benches which makes the classes small and personal and there are many times available to choose from. All in all, highly recommended.
