FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on many factors; time, quality, skill, materials, etc. No job is ever the same as the last. We can do a ballpark estimate if no plans exist. However, hard number pricing can only be done once there is a set of architectural drawings to bid from. One question that is asked a lot: How much does it cost to build a new home? THIS is a loaded question that no smart honest GC can answer without a set of plans. There are far too many factors involved in building a home that even trying to estimate a cost without the architectural documents AND exact location of where the home is to be built is just not feasible to do. What materials are you considering? What features do you want? What is the height of your ceilings? Is it a 1-story or 2-story home? How many garage bays? Mediterranean / Tuscan or modern? The list goes on and on and with every choice, there is cost involved. What homeowners need to answer is this: What is your budget? What have you been prequalified for? If you need help answering this question, we can put you in touch with a loan officer who does new-build construction loans.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We would need to schedule a site visit to determine what the project would consist of and whether we can do the work. An estimate of cost will be sent to you within a week of the visit. If there is already a permitted set of plans, we can bid the job per plans. We are a very small company whose focus is on quality of work, not quantity of jobs. We are always present on each job providing personalized service and supervision throughout the project. Therefore, we only work in the following cities or areas: Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Cave Creek, Ahwatukee, Phoenix (east of the 51).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Owner, Marc Allan, is a framer by trade with over 38 years of construction experience having started his career while still in high school (Mountain View, Mesa, AZ). He quickly moved up the ranks to superintendent and framer foreman.
