Jeremy just recently removed some concrete slabs for me after 3 other contractors could not do the job. He was on time, very efficient, cleaned up the area once the project was completed and did an awesome job. I will definitely be keeping his name and contact info for future projects. Contact him, you won't be disappointed!
David and his team are without question the best out there! I hired him to paint the interior of my home as well as refinish the cabinets in my kitchen and he and his team did a phenomenal job! They were not only professional, but also were very detailed in ensuring things were done right the first time. I had several quotes and David was by far the best price. If you are looking for a someone to help with any home remodeling or repairs you should look no further and hire Time4LSM. I highly recommend David and his team and will use them again and again for any jobs I need to have done to my home.
Michael replaced our old X10 box with modern, remote switches both inside and outside. Now we have awesome, nice-looking, and high-functioning remotes that control our outdoor flood lights and the pool light. It's been an awesome upgrade! Michael was friendly, highly communicative, and respectful. Would definitely hire again for future home electrical projects!
Hi There, When you went in there, did you notice hardwoord floor pieces being off? Trying to decide if this was caused by the general contractor or somebody else. any input is appreciated. Thanks
Did a great, quality job at a fair price - hard to find these days. Job completely in a timely manner and always prompt. Would highly recommend for tile or other renovation projects.
On time . Great pricing . It was a shock he actually did flooring in my house for the contractor who built my custom home . The flooring was so wonderful I signed him up right away . Ivan knows his flooring !!!!
a continued review with drywall photos (see last review for doggie door) - HCN patched up a drywall piece for me and will be returning to do more work! They are a great remodeling/repair company! -- drywall to be painted and texturized
Photo updates to follow First, I should say that for a big project like this, I would hire John again, bottom line. That is probably the most straightforward way to assess the renovation as a whole. We hear nightmare stories all the time about significant (and even minor) home renovations and, while we had our frustrations, we went through a big job with few significant complaints. Planning/cost: Initially discussing the project, John was extremely receptive to our budget needs: we had saved up a very specific amount of money, and needed to complete two big projects in order to make the house more appealing to future renters (as we plan to move to a home with my wife's parents for the foreseeable future). The house had only one bathroom, even though it was approximately 1600 square feet. We needed to fix that if any families were going to rent. John understood and very clearly explained where we would be able to save money, what he would charge us for his work, for materials he bought vs. materials we provided, the realistic areas we could go cheap and the areas we couldn't scrimp on. John's price was not just competitive, but frankly made the difference between us being able to have these two complete and dramatic projects vs. one that would have left us feeling wanting. However, it was the price along with the fact that his clients indicated he was flexible and budget sensitive through the whole project that made the decision for us. (We've certainly dealt with people who claim to be able to work with "x" budget, and then everything somehow inflates dramatically over time.) We had a laundry/utility room that was separated from the main house by a breezeway. John connected it to the main house with brick in the same style as the house. He converted the room to a full bath and laundry room with a large shower. Simultaneously, he opened up the bare backyard wall of the main house, installing larger windows and glass french doors. Quality of work/cleanliness: John completed a great deal of the work himself, using a subcontractor to perform most of the brick work and the drywall. The quality, functionality, and look of the work overall was simply fantastic. Day after day they meticulously cleaned up their work, leaving as little footprint as possible on our day to day lives throughout the process, which, frankly reduced the stress that I believe tends to naturally accumulate during such projects. Once we paint it I believe the new brick will be entirely indistinguishable from the old. The brick has extremely clean lines in the same pattern as the existing work, and the finishing work around the windows and doors is excellent. We did have a brief ordeal flushing out a clog that seemed to result from construction debris, but ultimately the plumbing is excellent. Similarly, the shower tile work ultimately is terrific, but we did have a problem with the layout due to an error that John corrected, and it looks wonderful. In the bathroom, he took what was basically a junk/laundry room and installed an elegantly laid out vanity, toilet, laundry hookups on one side, and a massive shower, and utility/cleanup sink on the other, with room to spare. He added a simple half-wall to divide the toilet from the washer/dryer that works perfectly to separate the space. The shower he created for us is enormous and beautiful. Every time we go in the room, we are impressed all over again. The whole room could have appeared like a necessary appendage stuck on to the rest of the house, but that large, bright tile shower makes the room look elegant. Flexibility: I hated to lose my very functional utility sink from that room and hadn't planned for a replacement; however, John helped by coming up with a clever solution to put a sealed brick sink in with the water heater closet. which works perfectly. It's a clean, and very functional solution that I constantly appreciate having, though it was certainly a significant adjustment for him. When we requested adjustments, it felt as though John quoted a bit high to accommodate time and materials (and his added stress). But all in all he was fair and up front about the work, his time, and our options. That being said, there were some frustrations: Our frustrations all come down to communication and documentation. I don't fault John for all of this - his talent lies in the work he does; had we been more on the ball, we would have been more clear and organized ourselves. We had any number of preliminary discussions with John, and agreed to three or four major things up front, that satisfied us the work could be done in a way that would meet all of our needs. But as the project began and progressed, numerous details were forgotten. Specifically, the layout of the utility room and the physical requirements for the french doors to be installed. John repeatedly asked how we wanted to accommodate something as if we had not already come to a conclusion on the matter and we would essentially have to re-figure it out. Specifically, he forgot the layout that best accommodated all of the elements I mentioned above, and he forgot that he would have to "float" the bathroom wall, requiring a different (pricier) toilet than originally planned. Additionally, when he went to start work on the french doors, he had to take extra time to order a lintel that would span the entire length rather than two separate lintels - but, of course these were dimensions he'd known since originally planning the project. Things like this ultimately got worked out to our satisfaction, with one frustrating exception, but if either of us had documented what we'd agreed upon, it would have saved a great deal of hassle and debate, as my wife and I had to re-discuss everything ourselves as well, which reinforced John's feeling that we'd never come to a final agreement to begin with. Time/documentation: While we believe John was more than fair in his billing, the lack of clear, consistent documented days/hours prevented us from having a clear, concrete idea where we stood financially during the project. This impacted us when, in a couple of instances, we did ask for changes (such as installing the utility sink) and he quoted us for the change, though we had no idea whether we were in the high or low end of the overall planned project. All of this is to say: John worked it all out, and he did so in a way that was affordable, excellent, excellent, quality, beautiful work. But, in order to avoid frustration, agreements as to planning should be documented and ongoing days/hours worked should be documented. This would help avoid revisiting complicated plans and would allow for adjustments without having to be in the dark about the bottom line. Day in, day out, we are grateful for the work John did, and that it didn't eat us alive financially, because he did come in right in line with the budget. We love looking through our fantastic glass doors every morning. We have guests stay with us for a day or two, and love having a beautiful distinct bathroom they can use when they stay with us. We love knowing they won't feel they're entering into some dark corner of the house tacked on because it had to be, but that there's a beautiful bath with plenty of space that they can make themselves feel at home in.
Jack of Phoenix Roofing and Remodeling, Inc. was very thorough, knowledgeable and professional in the overall project of my tiled roof underlayment replacement, I was very impressed with him. His crew was also very professional and courteous. They showed up on time, cleaned up every day, and if I had any questions they had the right answers. I would highly recommend Phoenix Roofing and Remodeling for any project a homeowner has in mind. An outstanding job performed. I would have to say that this has been the best contractor experience I've ever had
Brian is an honest and hard worker...I have used him at my son's college house for significant repairs, and at my personal residence for significant water damage repairs. He showed up late one evening with his young daughter to assist with bad storm damage and leaking late at night! Great Service. He is very reasonable and the work is impeccable!!! I understand that an elderly lady wrote a negative review which should be ignored as her facts are all messed up, so please ignore that review...Brian is of the highest integrity and best workmanship! Fantastic experience working with Micheal and the GPS team remodeling my back patio ceiling with stained wood planks. Quote was received shortly after my request and they provided valuable input on the project. The GPS team always followed up on my questions. Once hired, they did an excellent job installing the new wood ceiling on time and in a professional manner. This big project took one week to complete and they always showed up on time and cleaned up after each day of work. One of the best experiences if not the best experience I have had working with a contractor. I would highly recommend working with Micheal and his team. Thank you GPS!
Jerry was incredible. His team was responsive and completed the job as scheduled. It was not rushed; it was done professionally and correctly. The interior of our house was painted top to bottom as well as our outside walls and pool wall. The house looks like it was transformed for the better and I’m proud of what it has become. None of this would have possible with anyone else. Thank you Jerry and JD Renovation for making my home feel like home. I’m proud and honored to live in this beautiful residence. Highly recommended!
I am very happy with the work CBE General Contractors did on my house in Heber. The house and driveway look great and all the work was finished in a very short amount of time. Thank you for the beautiful facelift on my vacation home.
Extremely professional. Very reasonable quote and delivered exactly what was requested within the budget. Midstream project changes are also supported very well. Full city inspected construction.
Moe did a phenomenal job on my long list of to do items for my home. Everything from fixing a dryer to fixing a leaky bath faucet to ripping out a pool fence he did. He kept me up to date with his arrival time, and I couldn’t ask for a better value. We will be calling Moe when it’s time for renovations!
Carson was the Gen. Contractor on our house remodeling. It was an extensive remodeling of both exterior and interior work. The exterior required retaining and decorative walls with extensive regrading and backfill work, new roofing, stucco and painting. The interior included new kitchen cabinets, removal of walls, rebuilding of an entry coat closet with angled walls, new drywall, hanging of new doors, new dryer vent and floor tile. There was a mistake on the dimensions for the new quartz countertop which Carson insisted had to be removed and replaced. This impresed me as he backed me up and not the subcontractor. Carson was easy to work with, knows his business, and was a professional. The quality of the work by Carson Rogers and his subs was of high quality and better than a lot of residencial contractors in the business today. We are very happy with the outcome. I will be calling on Carson Rogers to do our bathroom remodelings next spring.
We hired Venus Homes for a kitchen remodel and were so impressed with the new design we hired them to do the bathrooms as well. It looks like a totally different house. Wonderful experience and very professional.
Rick is 1) skilled and knowledgeable in his craft, 2) a great communicator, 3) easy going and pleasant to work with. He replaced all the flooring in a two bedroom condo. Laminate and tile. From start to finish he handled every detail with professionalism. I will definitely call him again for a flooring project.
Great contractor. Will be using them again for future projects.
Ed designed an outdoor kitchen for my backyard that is centered around a pizza oven that he built, and included spaces for my existing gas grill and smoker. Considering myself designed challenged, I had only a few ideas of what I did and didn't want in an outdoor living space. The plans that Ed created on his computer cad program were detailed but easy to read, and included many creative, yet practical ideas for what my yard could be. I was able to provide input at every stage of the process and always felt that my requests were heard and incorporated. In addition, the pricing for the job was clearly stated in easy to read line-item format on a spread sheet that left no doubt as to what was being purchased. If there were any additions or changes, those were updated and shown before the work was authorized. All of the individual contractors that he brought in to work on various stages of the project (pizza oven, masonry, pergola, artificial grass) were monitored and their work was inspected carefully by him at each critical juncture. Ed also checked in with me frequently to assess my satisfaction on jobs completed as the project progressed. The work was completely transparent and I felt informed about everything that was happening. His passion for his work is evidenced by the way he brings his own creativity to work for the customer's preferences - and he enjoys figuring out the best way to make all of the little details fit together to make the most amazing final project. I would highly recommend working with this company if you have any outdoor home project!
Heath is very experienced and extremely professional in his approach to his work. He spend several hours with me, going over each item I wished to have done, asked questions pertinent to the project, and provided a detailed bid with clear writing, easy to interpret. No one could go wrong selecting him as a contractor.
