FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is straightforward and as accurate as the details of the job as relayed by my clients. I've seen many companies offer these "bait and switch" tactics where they advertise any room of carpet cleaning for $10 but when they arrive you get a bill astronomically bigger then what you were expecting. When I give you a quote it includes preconditioners and deodorizers to make your project look and smell great. The only additional charge I have would be if you wanted to add a protector. I usually wait to see how the cleaning comes out before offering this service to make sure it is worth the extra investment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I work with a new or repeat customer my process is very similar. I start off by inspecting the areas or items to be cleaned and ask about what are the main goals or priorities of the cleaning project. I then explain what can and can not be corrected so that realistic expectations can be given prior to cleaning. I will then explain exactly what solutions or treatments I will be using and about how long I expect them to take. After cleaning is complete I will walk through the project with the customer for a final inspection.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
When I first started in this industry I had a very detail oriented boss who took the time to explain how to clean properly and the chemistry behind it. I shadowed him for the first 6 months before he was positive I was ready to start taking my own route for his company. That was 20 years ago and this industry is ever evolving so I constantly read and research what changes and improvements are being made.
