FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A phone call, Skype session or in-person meeting is a great way for me to find out more about my clients and for them to get a feel for who I am. I like to get to know the couples I work with so I can really tell their story through my photographs. We can talk about the style of photography they are drawn to and the kind of wedding they're planning.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Every wedding is different. I photograph everything from super small, intimate elopements to big, lavish celebrations. I photograph weddings on the rim of the Grand Canyon, the forests around Flagstaff and Prescott, and at country clubs and venues throughout Sedona and the Phoenix-metro area.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Your wedding day is a big deal, right? And when everything is said and done – when all your guests have gone home, the cake has been cut, you’ve said your vows and your heading off on a honeymoon adventure – your wedding photos are the way you’ll remember one of the most important days of your life. Every photographer has a style that is reflected in their portfolio and on their website. Does that style match your vision of how your wedding will look? Yes? Then you’re on the road to finding a good match. Talk to your potential photographer about what you like and don’t like photography-wise. Are they on the same page with you? Are you looking for a photographer with a photojournalistic approach? Do you want a collection of photos that tells the story of your wedding day from start to finish? Then a photographer that is good at capturing all the details and special moments of your wedding day is important. Asking a prospective photographer for a link to a complete wedding day set of images gives you a look at how they capture a full day from getting ready shots to dancing at the reception.
