My husband and I have been working with Matt for just over a year now. We had built a small workout room in our house and were looking for someone to come to our house to train us. My husband and I are very different in our goals and strategies for working out but Matt has been able to develop a routine (2 times a week) that works for both of us. Matt encourages us and persuades us to finish the exercises even when we definitely want to stop early. He knows when he needs to modify the exercise and he is just a positive enforcement. If he thinks we need to do more cardio in between sessions he has a nice way of inquiring each week to get us to finally do the cardio that we should otherwise be doing. He mixes up the exercises so its not the same every week. Finally, he manages to train us even when there are distractions from a small dog or a 3 year old grandson. I would highly recommend Matt. He has been a great addition to our overall health and fitness plan the past 12 months.

I have been working out with O'Neil fittness for years and I have always gotten the results I've wanted. I've worked with other trainers, but none motivated me like O'Neil fitness. Their knowledge on nutrition and health has really helped me to stay healthy.

My husband and I have been clients of Sasha for nearly two years now. Sasha goes above and beyond for us. She follows our food sensitivity tests accordingly while she cooks healthy, fresh, and exciting meals for us at the same time. Sometimes eating healthy can get boring and seem very repetitive but not with Sasha's cooking! She is always making new dishes for us to try that we would never guess to be as healthy as they really are since they have so much flavor. Whether it's for health reasons or just the convenience of having someone to prepare fresh meals for you, we would highly recommend Sasha. She has a key to our house and we trust her with absolutely everything while we are not there. We love having her in our home and consider her more of a friend now than anything.

I really felt Wendy cared about me. I still can't believe I was able to be hypnotized. I am grateful for the time she spent with me, and for her suggestions. She definitely provided more than hypnotherapy; there was life coaching in there, too. All of it was very helpful. I have already put some of what she mentioned to good and use. :-) I am looking forward to our next session.

Gage is the best trainer/ body work coach-massage therapist I have ever had. I am a unique patient, I have a spinal cord injury which causes right side weakness. Gage put together a customized program to strengthen my muscles and help with body stabilization and walking. Gage is extremely knowledgeable, he knows the body inside and out. I am confident training with Gage because he not only tells me what exercises to do but he explains why. Gage has showed me an overall healthy lifestyle, he measured my BMI and is keeping track of my progress. He also suggests meals to go with my program. Also, Gage does bodywork, he is great at stretching and getting all the tight knots out. I love the mix of training and body work that Gage does, it helps promote blood circulation, strengthening and healing. Overall I love working with Gage because I feel like he genuinely cares about my well being. He pushes me because he believes in me, he doesn't just treat me like a number. Gage is truly one of a kind, spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally he is amazing! I highly recommend Gage- he will make a positive impact on your life without a doubt!

I've recently started working with Jessica and the results I have seen in such a short period of time are phenomenal! I lost 7 lbs the first week and 5 lbs the next. She really knows her stuff and continues to wow me with her dedication and expertise. Her attention to your biomechanics and form is second to none. She also takes the time to explain things to you if you don't understand and is always available for questions. Jessica even does charity sessions for people who are in extreme need of some health and wellness help. She has a great head on her shoulders and I trust her much more than any other trainer out there! If you are looking to lose weight or get strong, she's the best!

Lindsey is very personable and knowledgeable. My main concern is to workout for weight loss and I'm fortunate enough not to have health problems. I told her i'm open to walking, yoga, and will even train in boxing but i'm not into sports or even competitive that way. Lindsey's rates are very affordable for the knowledge that she has and she will also be sending me a nutritional plan. She is creating a training program around me and customizing something to make sure I don't lose the momentum. The best part is that she comes to my house! I would recommend Lindsey to anyone I know and I have booked her to train with me once a week.

Liz is truly the best! I’ve been working with her for about 3 months now and am very happy with my results so far. I’ve lost weight, built muscle and have healthier eating habits all because of her! Jason is very patient working with a guy like me who has a schedule that changes too much for someone in his profession. He is very talented as a trainer...he knows his stuff very well for both the young athlete and 50+ guys (me) who want the tone, muscles, etc but are limited to exercise time, desire and a physique that doesn't act like it did once upon a time!

Chad has been my personal trainer for 5 years. He has always been upbeat, friendly and dependable. In 2014 I had health issues and had 5 surgeries, chemo and radiation. Chad and I continued our training throughout the year and he was considerate and knew how to train with my limitations. I feel his knowledge and training helped tremendously with my recovery. Chad not only knows fitness training, he also gives sound nutritional advise. I am strong and healthy and plan to continue my training with Chad.

I workout with a trainer for several reasons but two of the most important ones for me are #1, I want to be healthy and fit and #2, to feel good both mentally and physically. Greg keeps me accountable in all these areas and I’ve been training with him for over 6 years. I have some physical health issues with my back, knees and shoulders having had several surgeries of which Greg is aware and modifies my workouts when needed to accommodate these. I feel it is so important to feel confident that a trainer has knowledge and wisdom to know when to “push” to do better and when to just encourage. Greg does these things well! Over the years I’ve had many trainers but honestly I’ve benefitted more from working with Greg. Another plus has been the friendship we’ve developed and enjoy talking about interesting subjects. I know I wouldn’t be as motivated if I were not working with Greg. Thanks Greg!! Suzie Stacy

I reached out to Brad for help while in the middle of a couch to 5K app based training due to intense pain that had me on the verge of quitting. He quickly diagnosed the problem and helped me complete the training pain free. I not only ran my first 5K in many years but with coaching from Brad went on to finish three more 5K races lowering my time with each one. And while completed them, I rediscovered the joy and fun of exercise that I had not experienced since my youth. Exercise now was not something I did because it was “good for me” but because it was fun. After completing the 5K races, Brad helped me train and complete an epic and very challenging alpine 90 mile backpacking adventure that had been on my bucket list for many years. By preparing for and completing the adventure, I came to appreciate the “process” of preparing for and completing physical challenges that seem beyond my capability. This appreciation has changed my life and has increased my everyday confidence, resilience and mental capabilities. Brad is the real deal. Not only does he have the deep technical knowledge and coaching experience but articulates in a very positive way only how someone can that has lived thru the training process. What is a health coach?

A health coach is a service provider you can hire to help you realize your wellness goals. You can hire a health and wellness coach to guide you through life changes, keep you focused on weight loss or fitness goals, help boost your mental health, and more. Wellness coaches come from varying backgrounds, and may have different areas of focus depending on their education and training. How much does a nutritionist cost?

Nutritionists can help people learn to follow special diets in a healthy way, such as becoming vegetarian or vegan or developing a low-sodium or gluten-free eating plan. Are nutritionists covered by health insurance?

Nutrition counseling can be a critical component of good health care, especially for people recently diagnosed with diabetes or high cholesterol who need to adhere to a specific diet. People also meet with nutritionists for help developing a healthy vegetarian or vegan diet, developing an eating plan to lose weight or gain muscle, or improving their sports performance by changing their diet. Nutritionists may be covered by health insurance depending on your reason for meeting with them. Nutrition counseling is more likely to be covered if it is part of a doctor-prescribed treatment for a particular medical condition, such as diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure or coronary heart disease. For example, Medicare covers medical nutrition therapy services only for people diagnosed with diabetes or kidney disease, as long as they get a referral from their doctor. Also, insurance providers more often cover nutrition visits if the patient has been referred to a registered dietitian within the carrier’s network of providers. Insurance plans vary greatly, so research your benefits before visiting a nutritionist.

What is a holistic wellness coach?

When you want to reach new heights with your health and wellness, consider hiring a holistic wellness coach. Much like a health coach, a holistic wellness coach is focused on your well-being and meets with you in one-on-one sessions to help you identify and reach your targeted goals. A holistic wellness coach will typically have you take all components of your life into account when working to achieve your goals. If your goal is to lose weight, a holistic wellness coach will not only offer recommendations for your diet and exercise, but also discuss your emotional health, your work/life balance, your spiritual side, and each area of your life that affects your ability to follow a nutrition and fitness plan.

Although they are highly motivational and often can help clients achieve great results, holistic wellness coaches are not professional health care providers or registered dietitians.
