- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have enjoyed music forever. I began by playing cassette tapes at backyard/beach parties for my friends. I had a mentor in college that owned a mobile DJ company, because I liked music I would help him setup gear, and I would push "play" while he was out working the crowd. From there I realized that I liked working with people and music, this naturally turned to me helping people create memories.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
To put a label on the event it would be Wedding Reception. But as I have mentioned each event is different and special. We have a standard flow for a reception but I don't think I have used it the same way twice.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do not look only at price, your DJ is an MC (Master of Ceremonies) look at all the skills they provide not just How big the speakers are. They should have a personality that is outgoing but not over powering.
