FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is, first getting to know you. I want to make sure we are capable of working together to achieve your goals. A positive relationship needs to established, so we become a team in this process. Then we can move on to setting goals and how to approach them. Once this has been set, we will continue to the evaluation. Where I can find what muscles are under/over active or what your current flexibility and mobility is. After reviewing all that we have gone over, together we will agree on the right plan of attack that is realistic for you.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into personal training after transforming my own life, from unhealthy and lazy to health nut and great work ethic. Once I was able to change my life for the better I knew I had to share what I had learned.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My greatest advice is to keep your mind open and ask as many questions as you feel needed. Every trainer has their own philosophy on exercise, so be prepared for different information from each individual. If a personal trainer does not have a straight answer for you and beats around your question with random big words, then they most likely aren't as educated or experienced as they portray themselves to be.
