Alex and his crew pulled up some old pavers and gravel, leveled out the area and supplied and installed a new style of paver. It took us longer to pick a colour that it did for Alex to complete the job!! They were there 12 hours after we accepted the quote and were completed before noon the next day. Can't say enough good things about them!!!

These guys did a great job with my gate and installing a paver area to park my trailer. The gate is super high quality and is very smooth. Great work!

Sal completed our concrete project with professionalism and outstanding quality! Sal was very quick to respond to my inquiry and gave us a solid quote and stuck with it. He and his team were extremely diligent in protecting our existing structures, pavers and other patios areas to ensure they were free of any debris from new concrete work. Our project was very custom and included: exposed aggregate finish, steps, radius areas, bull-nose edging, connecting to existing areas of dissimilar materials. We would highly recommend Sal and found him to have stellar integrity. He was so easy to work with and any future projects we have we will be using Sal again!

James, of HDK lawns, originally came out to quote me for turf. While turf was out of my budget, he suggested pavers as another option. His quote for pavers fit my budget and he was knowledgable and efficient throughout the entire project. There was one small thing I didn't like about the finished end of the patio when he was finished, but he promptly came out 2 days later and fixed it for me to make me 100% satisfied with the job. He's a great person to communicate with and I highly recommend him and his company for all of your landscaping needs.

I'm so happy! We finally got our all dirt back yard landscaped with pavers!!!! Cosnova Construction did a great job. Very professional and every thing was completed on time. They installed a drip and sprinkle system with 4 station timer, pavers , steps to gate from back patio and 500sq.ft of sod. They were very thorough. I highly recommend this company.

I had a lot of exchange conversation/questions with G Michael and his staff to get pavers in my backyard. I wanted to get quality work, installed in reasonable time, and still be cost effective. They put up with me and my questions/requests, worked out a deal to get a bit of a discount, installed my pavers within days of quoting me and did great work. The reason for 4 stars is because staff told me that the job would be done within hours, but I knew in reality it would take at least a day, which it did. Within reason too because it was triple digits so it's understandable. The workers that did the install did not come at the early specified time they had stated, which I would've figured it'd be at their advantage because of the heat. And they also left their heavy duty equipment and trash/debris from the job to come pick up at a later time which was over 2 days. -I didn't understand that. Also that heavy machinery was not tactfully carried off of my property, hence it was dragged on my cement pavement to the road and left skid marks. To be honest, because of the above statement I would take off another star, but in reality the first paragraph supersedes the second. They did do a good job, and it was hot as heck.

What started out a nightmare ended great, thanks to the professionalism and personality of Martin Acosta and his team. My six foot block fence was destroyed thanks to a hit and run driver. I called several businesses for quotes and I liked Martin's the best. Not just the price, but the man himself. Liked him immediately. He spent the time talking to me without talking down to me about what he could and would do to rebuild my fence. A problem arose (fence was 60-year-old rose-colored block which is hard to find anymore here in Phoenix) and it seemed that a substitution might have to be used. Martin took the time to hunt down the elusive block on his own time, and on the day of the actual rebuilding, allowed my wife and I to be a part of each step. It was obvious he cared not only about the quality of his work, but keeping us informed and educated. The finished product was beautiful. The clean-up was thorough. Anyway, he and his crew exceeded any expectation I had, and what really sealed the deal for me as to his professionalism and humanity is this: We had several pets buried very near the work-site and they were covered with pavers that became covered with debris from the accident and the dirt from the rebuilding. His final gesture before leaving was to gently brush off those markers until they were clean. Truly, do I need to say more about the character of the man? It was a pleasure doing business with Martin and his crew. And I would use him in a second should the need arise. And he's left-handed, so there's that. I would love to show off the before and after, but the photos refuse to load.

Alex and Juan were professional and easy to work with. We are very happy with the work Juan and his crew did with the installation of the retaining wall and 400 sq ft of travertine pavers.

Capital Landscapes was very professional and did an excellent job. We had several quotes from other companies, but Capital was the only one that could handle all of the different projects we wanted done. We raised the block wall three rows, added pavers, a built in BBQ, large built in bench, a propane fire pit, and a pergola. In addition to that we updated the edging in the yard, planted trees and other shrubs, and ran electricity to the pergola. The price was very reasonable and we are happy with how everything turned out. We have already referred them to friends of ours. We will use them again on future projects.

June 13, 2018 Ground Zero Landscaping LLC review. The owner Chad Bennett was pleasant and easy to talk to. I did not have a specific design or specifications for the company to use for my brick paver walkway and a 3-foot-wide border around the back of my 57-year-old house. So, Chad helped with some of the decision making regarding the pattern and how to resolve grade variations. The paver masons were precise with the difficult fits and quick to set grades and set the pavers. I asked for some changes to the original scope of work to include a drip system valve replacement which was accomplished by another employee other than the two masons. There were some miscommunications related to some fill dirt that was needed to fill a low area adjacent to the masonry. Initially some gravel mix (ABC) and caliche was brought in for the fill material which I rejected as unacceptable but Chad quickly found a source of “turf soil” and removed and replaced the ABC and caliche with the “turf soil” which I found acceptable. Overall: My wife and I were very pleased with the paver results; it improved the appearance of the house and will reduce the yearly maintenance. I highly recommend Ground Zero Landscaping with one caveat: it you do not have a formal design or specifications, as I did not, you will need to follow up as the work progresses with feedback to Chad and his workers to ensure you get what you have envisioned.

Logan had decided to be Mr Fix It and fill in the old pool in the backyard... well 2 years later, the backyard was still a dirt hole with all sizes of concrete and rocks mixed in. I hired Eddie and his team to make the mess a masterpiece. Seconds after I signed up for Thumbtack, Eddie contacted me. I'm from New York; I like people who work fast. He came out personally the next morning to give us an estimate on a myriad of jobs to get the backyard how we(mainly how I) wanted it. From filling and grading the yard, to installing irrigation for the sprinkler system, deciding on turf or sod, and putting pavers in. Eddie had a lot of knowledge and worked with our ideas as if they were his own. I wish I could attach pictures to show the before and after. We decided on a curved patio using travertine pavers. We went with sod instead of turf. Eddie and his team (who are all very professional and nice and respectful of the property) even suggested little additions that Logan and I had not thought of, but that definitely helped to really make the project complete. The backyard was completed after a few days well within our budget and we love it! Eddies team came back a few days later to patch up some of the travertine that settled in and since then, Eddie has come by to check on the sod and instruct us to either water more or less and when to mow. Also to adjust a sprinkler head for us. We appreciate his work and honesty and passion for what he does. Overall HomeScape LLC has 10 stars from us. As soon as I think of more landscape improvements, we will definitely be calling Eddie.

They were amazing. We had them install 2300 sq ft of Landscape Pavers and 800 sq ft of Artificial Turf. The work was beautiful and they finished on time. They kept everything clean during the process and always kept me in the loop. I would say communication was great.
