- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
PRIVATE LESSONS: COST: Thirty dollars ($30.00) per half-hour lesson; Forty-five dollars ($45.00) per 45 minute lesson; Sixty dollars ($60.00) per full hour lesson. Group Lessons are also available depending on interest. (please call me to discuss possibilities). There is a minimum enrollment of 4 kids per class and no more than 6 kids total. COST: Twenty dollars ($20.00) per each child per full hour lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The runway for learning the violin is different for every student I see. Personal ambitions, level of discipline, time, and physical proclivity for the instrument are all factors taken into account and I design a program suited for each student accordingly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BM, MM (USC)and 4 years of Doctoral work (SUNY at Stonybrook) in violin & viola performance. I have over 30 years of teaching experience, teaching violin, viola, and cello. I also have a strong background in piano, voice, music theory & composition, chamber music.
