FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning and developing new tools, techniques, and honing my skills to meet my clients' needs. Whether I'm engaging in groups, researching, or reading, my learning and progressing will always continue. My own self work is equally as important as the work I do for others.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My entire life I have been a teacher of sorts. At 13 I was introduced to Hypnotherapy. As an adult I was formally trained in the art, and learned the techniques of Coaching. I've taught various business courses, been the Director of Career Services, and my career has always included "teaching" clients HOW rather then doing the work for them. The results have been that clients gain confidence in their own abilities, and success becomes easier to achieve. One of my favorite sayings, "Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. TEACH a man to fish, he will never be hungry again."
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Confidentiality is very important, and while I don't divulge information about clients, one of my more recent clients has gone from barely paying the bills, to hiring an assistant to help mange the increase in business. It's not uncommon for clients to make big leaps. It's exciting to see goals reached and exceeded.
