FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not, my pricing is by project. Every job is different and often require different steps to complete. If I am doing a custom repaint, I usually have a general idea of price based on the type of surface, how many hours/days it will take and how much material will be required.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll meet a customer at their home to discuss their requirements, helping with color selection if necessary. I follow up with a firm estimate and, if necessary, sample boards to help with color and finish selection. Once the colors, technique and schedule are approved, I receive a 50 % deposit. I then show up as scheduled, complete the project and receive the remaining balance. My training was on-the-job, I learned from the bottom up, becoming proficient at each task before moving on to the next. From preparation to brush work to rolling, to spraying, to faux finishes. I consider myself extremely lucky to have found my niche.
