FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I went to school to be a CNA after going to massage school. So it intrigued me and was trained to massage the elderly (geriatrics) along with babies. I also have gotten injury, stretching with sports massage training which allows me to use my body mechanics properly so the client can get a deep stretch which includes a deep but yet not to invasive massage for healing specifics body ligaments for sports. With injury massage training its more of stretching and structural work to open the tight muscles and heal and get the blood flow for healing in certain injury areas.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

while I was still in high school Junior year, my grandmother introduced me and invited me to a massage therapy open house. Ever since then, because I was and still am and have a caring and loving nature to make people feel better, I decided to attend and graduate as a massage therapist. So right after I was done with high school I did just that and now after being a therapist for 14 years, I thank my grandmother and my mom, whom attended therapy school with me also, and foremost the Lord for this blessing and gift I have been given with my healing hands.
