Introduction: I have been tutoring successfully since 2007. I work myself out of a job routinely as my students gain tremendous skills and no longer need my services. I offer comprehensive diagnostic and tutoring services for any student who experiences reading challenges.
I have a special niche with students who have learning disabilities, ADD, ADHD and students who fall in the broad autism spectrum range. My services include free consultations with parents, diagnostic testing, written reports with testing results, feedback sessions incorporating parent goals and the diagnostic testing results, written motivational system contracts, one-to-one tutoring sessions, continuous monitoring of your child's progress through weekly contact, and a special emphasis on building your child's positive self-esteem and confidence level.

My 9 year old son needed assistance with his reading and writing so we reached out to Barbara for her tutoring expertise. Barbara worked with him over the summer and was absolutely terrific! In a very short time, we saw a large improvement in his comprehension, reading and writing and is doing great in school! She is very patient, and explains her tutoring in a way a child can understand. Barbara gave my son such confidence because she always praised him for being smart and capable.
