- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved photography since I was little. I would build "a camera" out of blocks and run around my house telling everyone, "Say Cheese!" When I started having my own children my husband bought me a camera, and then I decided that I wanted to be able to help others capture those special memories. I wanted to be able to use my abilities!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My last two family sessions I am really proud of! My first one had two little boys ages 2 and 4. The 2 year old would not smile for me so I asked the mom what her boys liked to do. When she told me that their favorite thing to do was run. I told her to let her boys run, and then I started to take their pictures while they were running around and playing. They turned out great! My second family shoot had a 5 month old baby and a 3 1/2 year old. The 3 1/2 year old didn't want anything to do with the photos. I told the family to just have fun and pretend that I wasn't even there. I got some amazing shots of them as a family and of them individually!
