We are a full-service pet and house sitting service company. We also offer house checks, pet taxi service (vet, groomer, daycare, shopping, etc), horse and farm care; horse exercising, and horse grooming. Our pet sitting services include daily visits (1-3 per day) to overnight stays.

Teri Ann has been working with animals since she was a young teen. Her parents purchased her first horse at the age of 15 years old, and she has been riding ever since.

She owns a paint/Arabian mare named "Hazi" (5 years old), who certainly keeps her on her toes, as well as a pitbull/Carolina dog mix named Willabean that she adopted from the shelter in January 2009. To round out her family is Zoe, who keeps Willabean out of trouble when Teri Ann is not home.

    For the last four years,Teri Ann has taken care of our big spoiled cat when we are away. She's reliable, trustworthy and does a good job. She not only feeds, waters, brushes and cleans his litter box, she takes the time for a little play with him and leaves us a "journal" of his activities. Whether we are going to be gone for two days or two weeks, we never hesitate to contact Teri Ann.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Get to know your prospect pet sitter, after all they will be taking care of your family (pets) members. We offer a FREE in-home consultation (meet & greet). This is a time to learn and get to know each other. You be amazed by Teri Ann's stories of her pet sits, adventures, etc. All prospect clients are given a consult packet that details the business, as well as forms to fill out detailing everything about your pet(s) needs. It seems long, but you only have to fill it out once (unless there are changes).

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. To know how to find the best pet sitter for your loved ones (after all they are family). Ask for referrals from your friends and co-workers (what better testimonial than someone you know). Teri Ann offers a ton of referrals from Happy Clients. She treats your pets as if they were her own.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. 1) How long you been in this business? 2) What types of animals do you care for? 3) What exactly do you do when you're in my home? 4) What type of referrals do you have? 5) Will you take care of my Pit Bull? 6) Do you come to my house or do you offer boarding? 7) What type of training to you have in regards to pets? 8) Do you charge one rate or does it depend on what needs to be done during the visit? 9) What if my pet gets hurt, during your care, how do you respond? 10) Are you trained in Pet CPR & First Aid? These are just to name a few questions that should be asked.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I treat all animals as if they were my own. There are several times I spend more time with a client's pet(s) because they are lonely or need extra care. I have never charge a client for the extra care.
