Introduction: My focus is not so much on the money, but on a win - win situation. I admit I may take a bit longer than some, that's because I'm very meticulous and detailed. I ensure the experience from start to finish is an enjoyable one for the client. I ensure I arrive in a timely manner, I dress appropriately, I explain the proposed product in layman's terms, I price not so low that I don't make a profit, but not so high that the client is turned off. I ensure the product selected truly meets the client's need, I'm clean and considerate of the client during and at the end of the job. I'm courteous and friendly throughout the process. I'm patient while explaining the use of the equipment. I can be reached at virtually any time to answer clients' questions concerning their system. Lastly, I'm very passionate about what I do. I'm an adult now, so I don't play with toys...however I enjoy putting together systems and solving complex audio video problems and providing all sorts of solutions to customers' needs. I have to say this is my playtime! I get to setup and play with expensive audio video technology.

I reached out to Shakatronics and LInwood promptly returned my phone call. We discussed, at length, what my audio goals were and how his experience could deliver the surround system I envisioned. This is important to state because I reached out to two other providers and since I was not directly in the valley, I somehow was not deemed valued. As for Linwood, he offered a complimentary home visit to assess my current electronics. He arrived on time and was very personable. He genuinely took the time to learn about our family, how we will use the areas involved, and shared examples from other clientele. After evaluating the indoor/outdoor needs, Linwood provided three comparables, in writing, with itemized pricing. No games, no gimmicks, no bait and switch. He followed up with phone calls to explain the potential invoices and answered all of our questions. LInwood was flexibile in his scheduling, respecting my wife and newborn. He was detailed and admittedly, a perfectionist--hiding all the wires and refinishing the drywall and painting. For us, we were very fortunate to find Linwood. He is honest, dependable, and extremely personable. He will take the time to explain what he is doing in non-technical terms for all to understand. And better yet, actually show you how to use the equipment you purchased. I would highly recommend Lindood and Shakatronics. A great person to assist you with all of your home electronic needs.

He was very good to work with...takes a little longer than we'd like, but conversely he's very detailed oriented and easy to work with. 4 star rated and would easily recommend him to others.

My experience was AWESOME. I purchased a 70" from him and asked him to mount all my TV's on the walls. He did an excellent work, was very reliable, and did it at a reasonable price. I would recommend him to anyone. I'm probably going to ask him for an all-around surround system next time as he does this as well.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I've recently completed my masters in management and human resources. To have a successful organization you must know how to manage all of your resources to include personnel. I'm constantly reading industry specific magazines that are imperative to increasing my knowledge of product and service improvement.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Started as a kid installing systems in cars. Then I joined the Air Force and did as a side job. Near the end of my military career, I became interested in home theater and started installing systems. After retiring from the Air Force, I went to school and earned my certifications. I worked for a local home theater store for a year and a half, then started my own company. I'm passionate about what I do...I love my craft...I take it serious, but I have fun doing it...what a blessing!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Home theater upgrades and installs. I receive many calls from clients who would like for me to install speakers in their ceiling because the home was prewired for surround sound and speakers throughout the home as well as outdoors. Most of the time they want their entire home theater installed and a high quality universal remote setup that's easy to use. I always come through and give them exactly what they want.
