It was so awesome working with Adrian. I hired him on a Sunday, and he was able to complete my task the next day. I had a shoe rack assembled for my closet, and it looks great! Thanks for the help, Adrian!
I am a photographer who specializes in portrait for high school seniors. Julie has done make up for me on three clients and I know there will be more in the future! Julie was wonderful to work with. My clients absolutely loved her and their makeup looked flawless. Julie is generous with her time, extremely knowledgeable and very talented in her craft. I highly recommend her if you are looking for professional make up for any event.
We were having a sofa moved from a house to a storage locker. Unfortunately for them, their truck broke down. However, they secured a different truck and completed the move. Kudos to them for following through instead of informing us that they couldn't do the move
Thank you very much for what your company did for me and my house today. This was the first time I ever hired anyone to do cleaning for me. I am beyond amazed and grateful for what you did. I came home to a sparkling clean, delicious-smelling home. I believe Tammy and her team went above and beyond what I asked them to do. ...and the pricing was very reasonable. Thank you Tammy (and helper) for your obvious hard work and wonderful work ethic. I will definitely recommend you in the future. Pam Cate
Julie was just amazing to work with. The job was big and she made it seem so manageable. She helped my 76 year old mother, go through decades of belonging in her home over several months and got everything sorted so that we could get the house on the market. She was so good working with my Mom and has the patience of a saint. She always get me informed of progress, what was going on and was my point of contact for containers and for the movers. She totally packed up my Mom's apartment that she was living in (while also working on packing and sorting the house) and made the challenge of moving my mom from Arizona to California seem easy. I recommend Julie for any job that requires a logistical brain, detailed organization skills and just plain kindness. Thank you Julie! I could not have done it without you.
Deirdre was so amazing !! She came in and was so friendly and understanding.. And helped me purge so much and arrange my computer workspace, my master closet ( which was a complete disaster) and my laundry room/storage area at the back of my kitchen.. I live in an 1050sf apt with my son and it feels so much bigger and open now it's really great! I would use her again and recommend her to anyone for any cleanup/organize project anytime! Thank you Deirdre!!! Fantastic job.... (You can see the pics of my place on her site )
She really understood what advice I needed. Then we went thru my wardrobe and we made piles to donate, throw out, and sell at consignment. Then she organized my closet so that it worked for me. Now I can quickly pull together outtfits that are stylish and appropriate for any occasion. Although we were able to use many of my existing clothes, Dianna will return with items that will jazz up and complete the wardrobe. Then we will take photos of suggested combinations for travel, business, casual, and formal occasions. I look forward to see her creative magic touch.
Photo updates to follow First, I should say that for a big project like this, I would hire John again, bottom line. That is probably the most straightforward way to assess the renovation as a whole. We hear nightmare stories all the time about significant (and even minor) home renovations and, while we had our frustrations, we went through a big job with few significant complaints. Planning/cost: Initially discussing the project, John was extremely receptive to our budget needs: we had saved up a very specific amount of money, and needed to complete two big projects in order to make the house more appealing to future renters (as we plan to move to a home with my wife's parents for the foreseeable future). The house had only one bathroom, even though it was approximately 1600 square feet. We needed to fix that if any families were going to rent. John understood and very clearly explained where we would be able to save money, what he would charge us for his work, for materials he bought vs. materials we provided, the realistic areas we could go cheap and the areas we couldn't scrimp on. John's price was not just competitive, but frankly made the difference between us being able to have these two complete and dramatic projects vs. one that would have left us feeling wanting. However, it was the price along with the fact that his clients indicated he was flexible and budget sensitive through the whole project that made the decision for us. (We've certainly dealt with people who claim to be able to work with "x" budget, and then everything somehow inflates dramatically over time.) We had a laundry/utility room that was separated from the main house by a breezeway. John connected it to the main house with brick in the same style as the house. He converted the room to a full bath and laundry room with a large shower. Simultaneously, he opened up the bare backyard wall of the main house, installing larger windows and glass french doors. Quality of work/cleanliness: John completed a great deal of the work himself, using a subcontractor to perform most of the brick work and the drywall. The quality, functionality, and look of the work overall was simply fantastic. Day after day they meticulously cleaned up their work, leaving as little footprint as possible on our day to day lives throughout the process, which, frankly reduced the stress that I believe tends to naturally accumulate during such projects. Once we paint it I believe the new brick will be entirely indistinguishable from the old. The brick has extremely clean lines in the same pattern as the existing work, and the finishing work around the windows and doors is excellent. We did have a brief ordeal flushing out a clog that seemed to result from construction debris, but ultimately the plumbing is excellent. Similarly, the shower tile work ultimately is terrific, but we did have a problem with the layout due to an error that John corrected, and it looks wonderful. In the bathroom, he took what was basically a junk/laundry room and installed an elegantly laid out vanity, toilet, laundry hookups on one side, and a massive shower, and utility/cleanup sink on the other, with room to spare. He added a simple half-wall to divide the toilet from the washer/dryer that works perfectly to separate the space. The shower he created for us is enormous and beautiful. Every time we go in the room, we are impressed all over again. The whole room could have appeared like a necessary appendage stuck on to the rest of the house, but that large, bright tile shower makes the room look elegant. Flexibility: I hated to lose my very functional utility sink from that room and hadn't planned for a replacement; however, John helped by coming up with a clever solution to put a sealed brick sink in with the water heater closet. which works perfectly. It's a clean, and very functional solution that I constantly appreciate having, though it was certainly a significant adjustment for him. When we requested adjustments, it felt as though John quoted a bit high to accommodate time and materials (and his added stress). But all in all he was fair and up front about the work, his time, and our options. That being said, there were some frustrations: Our frustrations all come down to communication and documentation. I don't fault John for all of this - his talent lies in the work he does; had we been more on the ball, we would have been more clear and organized ourselves. We had any number of preliminary discussions with John, and agreed to three or four major things up front, that satisfied us the work could be done in a way that would meet all of our needs. But as the project began and progressed, numerous details were forgotten. Specifically, the layout of the utility room and the physical requirements for the french doors to be installed. John repeatedly asked how we wanted to accommodate something as if we had not already come to a conclusion on the matter and we would essentially have to re-figure it out. Specifically, he forgot the layout that best accommodated all of the elements I mentioned above, and he forgot that he would have to "float" the bathroom wall, requiring a different (pricier) toilet than originally planned. Additionally, when he went to start work on the french doors, he had to take extra time to order a lintel that would span the entire length rather than two separate lintels - but, of course these were dimensions he'd known since originally planning the project. Things like this ultimately got worked out to our satisfaction, with one frustrating exception, but if either of us had documented what we'd agreed upon, it would have saved a great deal of hassle and debate, as my wife and I had to re-discuss everything ourselves as well, which reinforced John's feeling that we'd never come to a final agreement to begin with. Time/documentation: While we believe John was more than fair in his billing, the lack of clear, consistent documented days/hours prevented us from having a clear, concrete idea where we stood financially during the project. This impacted us when, in a couple of instances, we did ask for changes (such as installing the utility sink) and he quoted us for the change, though we had no idea whether we were in the high or low end of the overall planned project. All of this is to say: John worked it all out, and he did so in a way that was affordable, excellent, excellent, quality, beautiful work. But, in order to avoid frustration, agreements as to planning should be documented and ongoing days/hours worked should be documented. This would help avoid revisiting complicated plans and would allow for adjustments without having to be in the dark about the bottom line. Day in, day out, we are grateful for the work John did, and that it didn't eat us alive financially, because he did come in right in line with the budget. We love looking through our fantastic glass doors every morning. We have guests stay with us for a day or two, and love having a beautiful distinct bathroom they can use when they stay with us. We love knowing they won't feel they're entering into some dark corner of the house tacked on because it had to be, but that there's a beautiful bath with plenty of space that they can make themselves feel at home in.
Our house was in great need of cleaning. Rosario and her family did an excellent job. I was especially please with the shine on my kitchen cupboards, and the shine of the sinks and shower doors in the bathrooms. I could tell they were a very experienced and professional team. The spirit of joy and the unity of their togetherness was very impressive. They not only clean well, they seem to be wonderful people. Jane
Change the swing on my closet doors from swinging in to swing out. Great job would hire again.
The father and son work very well together. I am very thankful that they were able to fit me on their schedule to install my frameless hinged shower door. They have very good prices and do good work.
Aisi is a miracle worker. I can't believe I waited as long as I did to get her into our office. Once she got the managers office done. We had her continue by doing the storage room next and we will definately be continuing to use her services until we are 100% organized. My next venture though is to use her services personally at my home. Our Manager has done the same in her own home. I can recommend Aisi with EVERY confidence. You will not be disappointed. Don't wait it will be the best money you ever spend !!!!
As a male who already felt somewhat confident on style but was looking to improve my look further, I was slightly anxious hiring a stylist. However I felt very comfortable meeting and working with Joan. The first meeting was in a public setting where we got to know one another. Joan brings a varieties of styles and pictures to go through so she can get to know your preferences and what areas of clothing you want to focus on. The second meeting was a "closet audit" at my place. She gave me some great ideas I had not thought of as well as showing me potential existing outfit combos from my current inventory I didn't see before. I found the meeting to be valuable and her fees reasonable. J.C.-Scottsdale
I hired Mandy with Simply Organized Design to help my brother with piles and piles of papers, magazines, useless mail, etc. She came with a "ready to dig in and work" attitude. She came prepared with cleaning supplies and garbage bags and other organizational tools. She showed compassion and slowly got a feel for the task that needed to be addressed. She sat on the floor and was working with my brother to help him declutter his apartment which had gotten out of control. She made him feel very comfortable and they were chatting about music, his interests and she was never critical of the items that he had been saving for years. Within just 4 short hours, they tackled several areas and she gave him the confidence that he could continue this project on his own. They filled 9 garbage bags full of papers, magazines, newspapers, etc. Hoarders like my brother have a tendency to re-hoard in the future. If we ever need her to give him a helping hand again, I would certainly give her a call.
Great Job! Painting, furniture assembly, closet installation, cleaning. These guys do it all!

I have known Katy for years, so when I heard about her starting The Tidy Cottage, I got so excited. Being completely honest, I am a very messy person, and I don’t love people to see it. But I sent pictures of my room to her, and she did not make any comments about how messy my room was, and strictly talked about how she can help and gave new ideas! She is so easy to talk to, very friendly and only wants the best for you as a customer. One thing I absolutely loved about Katy, is that she wanted to work around my budget, being a freshman in college I do not have abundances of money to spend on organizing my room, but she strived to organize my room the most affordable way (she went $40 under my budget!). I really recommend using The Tidy Cottage for any organizational help you may need. You will not find anyone as friendly, understanding and affordable as she is!
Susan is wonderful to work with, a true professional and very thorough. We'd like to continue with her services.
So delightful to work with these ladies. They put my mind at ease and guided me through the process, so I can stay organized. I would highly recommend, especially if you are feeling overwhelmed, these ladies to organize any part of your life.
My organizing journey with Liana has been amazing! Her professional way of approaching my situation made me feel at ease. She had helped me add more value to the way I look at things and helped me appreciate what I have.
Besides being a "Domestic Goddess" for years, I have owned and operated a large restaurant both while being an accountant. I easily can clean and organize any business, home or combination for use of the client's personal needs and convenience.
