My 8 year old daughter started beginner lessons with Tanya a few weeks ago. Tanya's experience and professionalism are evident in how quickly my daughter is learning how to care for horses, the parts of a saddle, and how to ride and control a horse through body movement and paying attention to the animal. In addition, when my daughter's attention or energy level wane, she knows when to give her a break and how to reengage her quickly. Most importantly, my daughter is having fun! We are very happy with our choice of Tanya of TStar Training!

Tawnya is a seasoned professional in all things related to horse and rider. Her understanding of your horses mind and body allow for the best outcome in creating a calm, focused, and balanced horse. Whatever your discipline is, whether you are new to horses or a returning rider, Tawnya's instruction and guidance will set you up for a perfect partnership with your horse by giving you the confidence and tools necessary to complete the task. She will show you how, then guide you with your follow through to ensure the process is smooth and beneficial to both horse and rider. To see Tawnya working with a horse is a must for anyone considering training. You will not be disappointed with the results. I highly recommend Tawnya as both your coach and your cheerleader in developing your skills and training your horse.

I have trained in dressage with Jenny for over a year now. She provides excellent, detailed riding lessons and explains what needs to be accomplished to move forward in your training. I have ridden with many trainers over the past 20 years and she is one of the best. Most importantly, she cares about the horses and their well being.

Christina provides a well-rounded start to the beginning/intermediate rider. Whether it's reining, cow horse or pleasure, Christina offers a great service. Christina really spends time getting you and your horse confident in your riding capabilities and having a pleasurable experience in the show pen. If you are ready to step up, her partner, Trapper Rodgers, can take you to the next level, or we can help you find that next special place. Christina Rae has been in the equine industry for over 10 years. Beginning with riding jumpers, she attended many clinics and worked in California for Ronnie Freeman (a well-known Canadian jumping horse trainer) and rode with trainers, such as Mary Beth Molt and Endar Equine. From there, Christina dabbled in the pleasure horse industry and then quickly moved to the cow horse industry. Christina showed as an amateur, winning several titles, and decided to turn in her amateur status to become a full-fledged trainer. She has worked for the following: • Mark Matson • Tanya Jenkins - winner of numerous NRCHA titles • Donnie Bricker - a continuous finalist in NRHA events • Bill Norwood - a numerous AQHA World show finalist • Dave Belson - an Arizona breeder and a top NRHA trainer • Dan Huss - a nationally known pleasure and reining trainer This is not the extent of her working experience, but are the people who have greatly impacted her training career. Come and be a part of a special family where we like to win and have fun!

About

We train horses and people using Natural Horsemanship (horse whisper) methods. There are no problem horses, only opportunities for improvement. People with fear issues are our specialty. The relationship between the horse and rider is one of mutual trust and understanding, and we help both the horse and rider develop that synergy. Professional, understandable instruction, combined with experienced, well-trained and gentle horses, makes for a mutually fulfilling experience. We're developing enjoyable partnerships between horses and people. Give us a call; you will be glad you did!
