I highly recommend them and we're already getting a list together for our next set of work! I worked with one of the generalist teams and Jeff and them did a great job. They were fun to have around and my wife and I could tell they like working together. We would frequently hear them calling each other over to teach each other meaning they keep getting better! We had them work on things like installing a new vanity and linen closet to our bathroom and replace the baseboards in our entire house. They also fixed small issues here and there like resealing a window. Then they left the work area cleaner than any other contractors we've had and they cleaned at the end of EVERY day of a multi-day job so that we could actually use the parts of the house that were not affected. It was great. On top of that, the mission of the parent non-profit Streets of Joy make this a holistically happy experience.

During the initial consultation which was extremely pleasant, I gave them a DETAILED list of the work that I needed for my property. I requested a quote and told them a specific start date which was a week before I leave town. Immediately after, there was a delay getting the quote which was much higher than I had hoped, so I revised my list of work to remove some items, and they revised the quote to better align with my budget. I signed the updated quote, and I waited for them to establish a project management program for me to access. They kept delaying that too. Later they said they made a mistake with the bid and needed to increase the price. They also said they needed to review the list I provided again because they had missed charging a higher price for things that were on there. They blamed it on me changing the list but I gave them a specific line by line list of what needed to be done for each unit so that it would make it easier for them to know EXACTLY what needed to be included in the quote. At this point, it was already past the agreed upon start date, and I was about to leave town. I told them because of their constant delays, my project is now delayed. TMS kept in contact to follow up and resume the project. During this time that I was out of town, a friend who I trusted offered to take care of some of the work that I wanted to get started, and I agreed. When I got back, I requested from TMS an updated contract for a few of the line items with the EXACT PRICE they gave me before. They then said they would need to adjust the price again. I would now have to buy material that I wouldn’t have needed to purchase previously. They basically changed things over and over to squeeze more and more money from me. While the initial consultation was extremely pleasant and informative, everything after that point kept leaving me feeling more distrustful and frustrated with the way they operate.

Christine thank you for your review and as always we take everything into consideration ultimately we are happy that you got your project done successfully. We tried several times unsuccessfully to have a quick phone conference with you to go over the issues as I state it multiple times what is reading doesn't necessarily translate in the proper way to do a project all we as for was a quick phone conference and offered to discuss the project a project of that magnitude always is accompanied verbal discussions to ensure what we are delivering is what is your expectation you put process is in there that we could not followed through with
