FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning new and advanced techniques to keep my massage and wellness career in motion towards an expert level of credentials.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was raised by a Physical Therapist and most of my initial training was in the style of an apprenticeship. I began to know that I was a gifted bodyworker in my late teens and found a passion for the work in my early twenties. Massage therapy and wellness practices have been an active part of my life since I was a young man.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with a variety of conditions, many related to chronic shoulder and neck pain, low back pain, and stress related issues as well as carpel tunnel syndrome and fibromyalgia. Very often there are shooting pains involved with clients and trigger point therapy is very helpful in improving these pain issues. Often one has Myofascial adhesions, or areas where the tissue is bound under the skin and around the muscular areas. Many of the techniques I use reduce this complication and improve the overall health and function of the tissues and muscular areas.
