Bill is greatly experienced in Chemistry. As a student with a learning disability I comprehend material slowly. Bill took the time to teach me material in depth with patience. I sent him homework problems I had issues solving ahead through email before our session and he was able to walk me through how to do just about all of them with an explanation of why. He is also funny, which makes learning all the more fun. He is definitely my go to college tutor for now on.Apr 1, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $40 per hour to travel to student's home or meet at a mutually agreeable location. I don't charge for travel time. I charge $30 per hour for phone or internet tutoring. Business professionals are charged $60 per hour. After all, they stand to profit from my input.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I begin by asking questions about what the student is studying and what is causing difficulty. We look at current assignments and test results. I also want to find out what they like or don't like about their teacher.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?BS in chemistry and physics. Post-baccalaureate in secondary education. Certification in secondary chemistry, mathematics, physics, biology. Ten years as teacher. Over 30 years as industrial chemist and process engineer.
