I've been training with Matt for approximately 4 months. I was very out of shape and approximately 25 pounds overweight. My goal was to tone, strengthen, and lose weight. I've lost about 15 pounds, I feel great and look so much better in my cloths. Not only is Matt an expert at strength training and nutrition but he is very motivational. I've tried numerous trainers in the past but I've never stuck with the program long enough to see results. Matt's style is the perfect blend of structure, discipline, and some humor to keep you motivated through your sessions. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Greg is a solid dude. He's personable, professional, and punctual. He holds you accountable and makes training fun. There is extreme value in the service he provides that is not common with a lot of the trainers I have worked with over the years.
6 years ago, when I started seeing Carolyn, I lost 30 lbs. I could have never done this on my own. Carolyn helps me stay focused, uses gentle accountability, and helps me set realistic expectations for myself. She notices when I need more (or less!) even before I do. She is attentive to my needs and flexible as life circumstances change my plans. Carolyn makes me feel like I have a partner in the struggle to remain healthy and confident. I had an unexpected pregnancy well after I thought I was done having kids. I was 34 & gained close to 80 pounds during my pregnancy. I struggled to get the weight off after baby was here. I researched different trainers, and by doing this I was given a variety of information. I saw a trainer for a few sessions before Derek but he didn't work out. I'm happy I made the switch. Derek took the time listen to my long and short term goals. He listened but also asked a lot of questions in order to be able to help me according to my personal needs. I learned to trust Derek when it came to the calorie marks he set me at, even when I thought it was too much. He always explains the science behind his methods and answers all questions. I didn't question him after seeing results month after month. I set a few short term goals for myself and have since reached them. I am close to reaching my maintenance weight and have Derek to thank for that. He has the patience and the passion for what he does. If you're willing to put in the work and listen to his guidance and follow the plan he has for you, I guarantee you will see results. I have done group training and personal training with Nick. He is one of the most knowledgeable trainers I have ever worked which gives him the tools to make a plan that is geared toward each clients personal goals. I would recommend Nick and After It Training to anyone.
Last summer I decided I was ready to look into exercise assist type options - gym, personal trainer, classes, etc. During my search, I came across Keleigh at Balanced Strength. I liked the idea of being able to work out in a home-based setting, and she had excellent reviews, so I emailed her. She was prompt in her reply and very courteous. I met with Keleigh the following week and I learned just how challenging Pilates is. But I liked it enough to go back . Keleigh creates challenging workouts, but she's also very good at making sure you rest when you need to. And if something doesn't feel right during any part of the workout, she's good at making instant modifications to avoid injury. Keleigh is also good about changing things up. Minus a few scheduling conflicts, I've seen her weekly for 6 months now and have only repeated a couple of exercises that I can remember. We have also incorporated a few HIIT workouts and even a hybrid of HIIT with Pilates. I have struggled with liking exercise my entire life, but I actually look forward to my weekly sessions with Keleigh. I highly recommend her!
I've had several trainers in the past, but I have to say Jessica is by far the best. She is extremely knowledgeable and actually cares about not only my health and fitness but she cares about my well-being and me as a person. She's laser focused during our sessions and constantly ensuring that I have appropriate biomechanics and technique. Another thing she does that none of my other trainers ever did is a functional movement screen. After the screen and the corrective exercises she prescribed I've been moving better and with less aches and pains than ever in my life! Also, she is very up to date on any and everything related to exercise or fitness as she is always informing me of some fascinating new research she's discovered. She is committed to her craft and passionate about helping others. Jessica is also dependable and has a fabulous personality and demeanor...i wish I found Jessica 10 years ago. I just can not say enough good things about her. If you are looking for an EXCELLENT trainer with OPTIMAL results, don't waste your time looking at other trainers. Stop what you're doing and get on the schedule with Jessica, she's the best there is. If I could give 100 stars I would!
The best trainer in Scottsdale, period. Dolores is an extraordinary trainer and fitness coach. I highly recommend the STARTUP program. Not only do you get a feel for Dolores' expertise and capabilities, she provides a comprehensive assessment of your physical strength, cardio-fitness, and flexibility. The assessment also serves as a benchmark to measure your results from Day 1. I saw quick gains in my strength, stamina, flexibility and more importantly, I lost fat in my mid-section. Plus, she really knows her nutrition and she's so nice! Tough, but nice.
I started with true results last march with Brian as my trainer. I was 280 pounds and didn't feel "good". With hard work and encouragement from Brian. I lost 60 lbs in the first four months and feel "great". Brian not only knows how to train individuals for there goals and needs but pushes you without the drama you find in some gyms and trainers. I just got started with Dane. I have had several trainers before, and I like the in-home training, because of my time and business constraints. Saving that driving time to go to a gym is helpful to me. He has been excellent - more volume than I had before, more variation in the workouts, and he has an intense attention to my technique - not letting me do it wrong or cheat. He wants me doing it correctly to get the maximium benefit and the maximum safety. He has been very personable and attentive to my needs, and I am highly impressed. Plus I am already seeing benefits. I should also mention that he has emphasized and given me a lot of dietary input as well, and he has enlightened me on some mistakes I was making with my diet, so I am impressed that this is moving forward on a lot of different fronts. I would highly recommend him and I feel very fortunate and lucky to have found him. He is very passionate about training, and this definitely shows. You will not be disappointed.
I think one of my favorite parts of working with Gage is how much he honors the body. Not just in the expected sense of 'I'm a personal trainer, let's get swole' but in the sense of our body being our vehicle in this lifetime. We are intended to move in these physical forms and Gage supports, facilitates and motivates that movement. Liz Brooks is truly an amazing personal trainer! She works with me as a whole person; physically, mentally, and emotionally. I had done crossfit training for a few years and had to stop due to financial issues. When I was ready to regain my trim strong body, I did a search for a new trainer. After meeting Patrick, I knew he was the trainer for me. We have worked together twice and I know I made the correct choice. He evaluates my performance with everything I do and modifies my exercises to suit where I am that day. That is what works best for me. He is very knowledgeable, professional and has the kind of positive attitude I love to be around and share with others.
