Nicole was a great counselor. Her insight has helped me face so hard cold facts in my life. Thank you Nicole I highly recommend her.
I haven't met her yet for our first counseling session
I was really looking forward to going away to school but my freshman year turned out to be a disaster. I’m kind of an introvert but that never stopped me from making friends before. The school was so huge and there were so many people in my dorm that it kind of freaked me out. A lot of them, including my suite mates, were into partying, which I’m not, so the constant noise really got to me. I was too ashamed to tell my parents how unhappy I was, so I just tried to do my best. But I got so anxious and depressed I went to see the school counselor. She was nice and sympathetic but not really that helpful. I thought I was going to lose it, so I finally called home and told them what was going on. My dad is from the city where the school is so he asked some of his friends there about therapists who were good at working with people my age. I ended up with a list of people to try and saw three of them before choosing Ilisa. I’m not sure if her having kids in college made a difference but she seemed to understand exactly what I was going through, which was a big relief. She also helped me deal with the incredible stress and depression I was feeling with EMDR. It’s a pretty weird process, but it works! She also helped me understand the reasons why I was having such a hard time and helped me come up with strategies for dealing with them. I’m in my sophomore year now and pretty much back to my old self. I’m glad Ilisa’s there and will go back to her if I start to feel anxious or depressed again.
My session with Kim, is by far the best I've ever had. After a marriage that didn't work as planned, I decided to consult with Kim prior to giving it another go. She was very understanding of my concerns and she actually LISTENED to me! I have had consults with other counselors prior to this session and what a difference it makes when you know that your counselor is honestly invested in your situation. She listened to me as if she were my best friend, but never slipped out of being a devoted professional. I recommend Kim to anyone who is looking for an honestly productive counselor. Not only has she helped me better understand where I am in my life, she is also helping my teen son through a difficult and confusing time of his life. Kim Lohman is top notch!
After 1 phone call & 1 meeting I feel comfortable as this was my first time with a counselor. She listens (and remembers!) and follows up/thru
Linda does a fantastic job. Has really helped with my relationship - particularly anxiety and depression. She has taught me coping skills to help me deal with daily issues as they arise. She is caring, responsive and one of the few counselors who actually listens to me and structures my treatment plan to my specific needs. Of everyone I've been to (still with Linda) she'd be one of the few I would ever go back to.
Kate is a wonderful counselor. She openly listens and is very professional. She has many resources and gives you a personalized experience. I would highly recommend her for any counseling needs you may have.
Daniel Faust understands personalities and motivations, and how they affect relationships -- both professional and personal. More than that, he has creative and memorable ways to share this understanding with his clients and audiences, helping them to internalize a greater understanding of themselves and others, leading to better relationships. I recommend him wholeheartedly.
Erica is really "the child whisperer." I brought my daughter to see her for depression and to work through some things that had happened to her when she was younger. In just a few months she's so much happier (she's actually smiles sometimes!) and just seems to like herself much more. I think Erica has been such a blessing to our family.
Kristine is truly amazing! She has helped me get to so many “aha” moments, that have just brought peace into my life. I look forward to her positive attitude each week.
I worked along side with janine at Canyon State academy. Janine is very kind and very good at helping others. I would highly recommend Janine to anyone in need.
Sometimes, life just doesnt go the way we want. Too often, we find ourselves stuck in a bad place, leaving us hurt, lonely, angry or depressed, or just plain out of control. Why is it that we do the things we dont want to do, and we dont do the things that we know are good for us? I provide a confidential, non-judgmental place to re-engineer your life. I will strive to help you experience growth from the pain of life, and empower you to move forward, better able to face the inevitable problems that come your way. I look forward to the opportunity to partner with you, to help you clarify what you want from your life and how to go about getting it. My primary area of interest is in working with couples, although I do work with individuals also. This includes pre-marital counseling, communication difficulties, recovery from affairs and sex addiction, and parenting together after divorce. In 2011, I completed a certification in Sex Addiction Therapy (CSAT®) through Patrick Carnes. The CSAT® program is fast becoming the industry's standard certification for all therapists working with individuals who suffer from addictive and compulsive sexual behaviors. I received a master of arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, and I am a marriage and family therapist registered intern (IMF#64851), under the supervision of Curtis Miller, Psy.D., D. Min, MFT#31636. I am trained to use the PREPARE/ENRICH inventories, a comprehensive couple assessment tool for pre-marital counseling. I handle couples and betrayal.

I believe that a positive, supportive, non-judgmental approach are important elements to the growing and/or healing process you will experience on this journey toward achieving your goals. Kelsey Blythe is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT-10537). Her passion is to help her clients restore connection and repair their most important relationships. She believes all people need love and connection, and that unfortunately we can become stuck in negative cycles that affect each other, even when we are making our best effort to maintain the relationships. Kelsey helps her clients to have new healthy interactions and to experience a deeper, more vulnerable, connection. Though change is not easy and often frightening, she believes the best thing she can do for her clients is to help them to have the strength and worthiness to ask for connection, and to in-turn accept.
Part of the reason my work stands out from other life coaches, is that I also have 12+ years experience in the mental health field and am able to bring that experience and education into coaching. I also am a mother of four and grandmother of six which gives my clients my experience with growth/failure of real life experience. I treat each relationship as unique, there are no two alike, therefore there is not a cookie cutter answer for any relationship.

As a relationship coach with a Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy I use tools from both to best fit the needs of my individual client, and not a cookie cutter method that fits all clients.
