I trained with Carolyn for over a month when I used to live in Tempe. She is great with the kind of exercise she makes you do, depending on your body type. She gave me some great tips on eating right. She does Yoga and I do Yoga a lot. I improved some of my Yoga poses while training with her. She is very passionate about fitness and gives her best while training you. I enjoyed training with her.
Donna is an excellent instructor, adept in a variety of yoga styles. Over the last few years I have taken her flow classes at my neighborhood cross training gym, enjoyed her delivery of various set sequences at multiple hot yoga studios and also attended private yoga classes for golfers. She is professional with a fun, welcoming personality.

A year ago I began the practice of hot yoga at my daughters encouragement. My daughter is a yoga instructor and said it would be good for me at this stage of my life. As a senior citizen, I was reluctant to start the practice of hot yoga. I agreed to take yoga classes at my daughters studio and that is where I met Shelly White another yoga teacher and friend of my daughter. I immediately fell in love with Shelly. Her big beautiful smile and her caring personality was what I found to be encouraging to me starting this program at my age. I soon joined a yoga studio near my home and was pleasantly surprized that Shelly taught one of my Friday afternoon classes. A bundle of nerves starting this new venture, Shelly sooned calmed me down and was very helpful to me as I learned the class and the poses. Shelly made me comfortable by being so helpful and patient with me that I never missed her Friday afternoon class after that. We have become great friends and Shelly is the greatest teacher who helped a senior start a new program of hot yoga.
Natalie is THE yoga teacher....that one teacher you eventually find that makes you understand what yoga is for me. For me, it's not about "yoga butts" or $110 leggings or doing the most convoluted pretzel shape in class (though it will work your body and increase your flexibility like nobody's business!). Natalie does an amazing job gently emphasizing that time on your mat is deeply personal. She offers tons of variations so nobody feels left out. She cues perfectly, which makes class smoother and easier to follow. Because of Natalie, I can get something out of any yoga class I visit, whether she is there or not. Natalie changed my yoga and my yoga changed me.
I've had 3 sessions with Dani now and am really enjoying the experience. The one on one attention and guidance is exactly what I was looking for and Dani makes it so comfortable, right from the moment she came though the door. I'm not in the best yoga shape these days and I struggle with some of the postures and never do I feel a judgement or impatience. I do feel like I am strengthening my foundation with each meeting and look forward to continuing our work together. I highly recommend Dani to those looking for some personal instruction.
An amazing first time experience with private instruction. Full service with an extremely knowledgeable instructor who both worked at my pace and provided a custom session based on what I wanted to get out of the experience. Green Mat Yoga is definitely the way to go!
I have had the opportunity to have one special yoga session with Terri. And, though my schedule has not permitted me to attend again I hope to work with Terri in the future. I found Terri to be very pleasant. Her class was very informative and she delivered as promised for a doable yoga session that incoropoates pain management in the class for people with pain or problems due to lack of range of motion. I highly recommend discussing with Terri your physical problems and goals as she has very creative ways to help overcome or manage problems and yet achieve goals.
I love Natalia! She is a wonderful teacher with a perfect yoga voice. Her energy and commitment to each practice is very rare. I practiced yoga through all my pregnancy with her and I am still in after birth. You will not be disappointed and if you don't love yoga yet you will!!!
I especially appreciated the patience and attention she provided to me as someone trying yoga for the first time. Further as someone recovering from an injury she took care to ensure I did not put myself in a position that might aggravate the injury.
Mercedes is a breath of fresh air! She is always so positive and enthusiastic in her classes. You can literally feel her energy transfer to everyone in the room! I was new to yoga and nervous, but Mercedes greeted me along with all of her guests to ensure we all feel loved and welcomed. She is attentive to everyone & truly gives the feeling like you are in a one on one class which made me so comfortable. I highly recommend attending her sessions, I learn something new every time!
Dianna is probably the best yoga teacher in the Phoenix area!!! I could not believe when I saw her in Thumbtack! Her private class was amazing. With uplifting energy, precise alignment, strong focus, perfect sequencing, it was personal, relaxing and totally inspiring.
