- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically do not work by an hourly rate. The price I quote is the price you pay, excluding the cost of parts, shipping, and taxes
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically get as much information from the customer as I can before actually starting the work. After contact via Thumbtack, I typically give the customer my phone number so they can call me, especially if I need more information. Once I have what I need, we may discuss price, but it's typically what was quoted, and no more, unless parts have to be ordered. I will also ask for an email address so I can send a screenshot of the part and its price, so there are no surprises. I complete the work, return the unit and have the customer verify they are satisfied before asking to be paid.

I have been A+ certified since 2012 and have been working on computers since the late 1990's.
