- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't. My pricing is as simple as it gets and is always in writing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, annual re-certs, getting ready to renew A+. Take courses at GCC just to stay current on the general topics. Honestly, most experience is hands on. As I mentioned earlier, almost every service call is unique in one way or another.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was 14, My father was a drill instructor in the US Marine Corps and my mother stayed home taking care of all us kid. We didn't have much money being in a military family of 4 kids plus mom & dad.... So, my personal 8 Bit computer broke and we couldn't afford to fix it I took it upon myself (since I had nothing to lose) to try and fix it. Needless to say and to shorten the story, I was able to take it apart, re-solider a lose memory chip and fix the computer. I was so happy with myself. I decided to start taking computer classes in High School, on into College and then made it a career. I couldn't see myself doing anything else at this point in my life.
