FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge an hourly fee for my services, which can included any of the following but is not limited to drawing time, sourcing of materials or information and meeting times, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to set up a phone meeting with the client to discuss the project perimeters and discuss the process and how I work. Secondly, we would set up a meeting at the project site so that I can take photos, measurements and get a feel for the space. That also allows me to get to know the client better and really find out what's important. Then I get to work and we set up scheduled meeting until the project is complete and the client is happy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago. My four year degree, along with several internships has prepared me well in the field of interiors. I have since continued my education to pass the exam of The Council for Interior Design Qualifications and belong to the Interior Design Board of NM of Licensed Interior Designers. I take continuing education classes each year to stay on top of trends and standards to help in my projects and with clientele.
