I currently do some finger-picking but am a bit rusty, not having played much in many years. I am interested in learning some new ways of picking and expanding my repertoire of songs so that I could perform a couple of sets at a better-than-average level. Don't know much theory and am self-taught. Some theory would be helpful, but I'll probably never be a theory guy, so I'd like to focus mainly on learning new pieces and new picking patterns and approaches.

im 38 years old and i have been playing bass since my 20's. my preference is to analyze and learn songs from the 90's rock band our lady peace. an alternate to that would be to learn how to play more melodically/walking/motown style bass lines.. i have the whole root note/ dynamic playing down at a high level..thanks.
