FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, just graduated from Anthem college, where I got certified as a veterinary technician.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Love, love and love for animals and their well being. it started just as a dog walking and pet care job but then i was very interested in educating people on how to communicate and train their pets. Education on care, nutrition, spay and neuter is the way to go about changing the general picture and having less homeless pets, specially here in TX.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am working with few difficult dogs at all time but this one is special. His name is Butch and his foster mom rescued him from streets of Phoenix. He was scared of people to the point of peeing and shaking if you even look at him. With a lot of positive reinforcement and rewards this dog is now being walked on the leash daily, loves to meet people and other dogs and is ready to find a forever home. Yeey!
