Introduction: This is family owned and operated by the Rideau family. Our catering business started in Depression Era, Phoenix, by smoking meats, creole style, for friends and neighbors. Family dining started with our first restaurant opening in Phoenix in 1949. Our award-winning meats include pork and beef ribs, beef brisket, shredded beef, pulled pork, chicken, hot link, ham and rib tips. We also smoke your Holiday meats and poultry to order. "The meat is the treat, but the sauce is the boss" is our motto. Our sauce is zesty, lively and lavish and never disappoints. We offer sides of "comfort" that you expect with great BBQ. We have our versions of jambalaya, dirty rice, greens, red beans and rice, Southern fried cabbage, beans, mac and cheese, and, also, cold sides of slaw, potato, and black-eyed pea salads. We cater to any and everything between small board meetings, to large events, including weddings, festivals, music venues and more. There is no event that we cannot accommodate, and it is always our pleasure!
