- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Many small projects we can supply a flat rate for. Larger websites and designs we charge on an hourly rate. We believe this to be fair to both of us, and keeps everyone accountable for their time. We think your time is just as important and should be treated that way. Logo designs start at $195. We offer unlimited revisions and special add-ons for your business like business card design, commercial printing, branding guide, social media graphics and website design. Branding packages start at $395.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?To give you an idea of what to expect from a logo project, below is an overview of the process. Since every project is unique, the approach may differ, but will always include the following components: Research: Once you commit to working with us and down payment is made, we’ll ask you a few more specific questions. The info you provide will help us better determine your needs and ensure we’re on the same page. Additional research may be required to learn about your industry, competitors, etc. Creating: With this better understanding of your expectations, we can begin brainstorming and sketching out ideas onto paper. This is an important step, as well as the most time consuming. The aim here is to come up with as many quality designs as possible in the timeframe your project allows. Refining: Now comes the task of selecting the best of the rough ideas, and making them more presentable. This involves scanning sketches into the computer, converting ideas into digital format, choosing appropriate fonts and color schemes. Presentation: Your logo(s) will be presented to you in a small file PDF. This will not be the final resolution of the logos, just a basis for you to review and make revisions. Revisions: Upon your feedback, any necessary changes to the presented logos will be addressed (i.e. color, type, graphic modification). In the rare instance you find none of the logos we present to you satisfactory, additional concepts can be purchased at our hourly rate. Finalizing: Upon your approval of a logo, final payment will be expected. After payment clears, final design files will be sent via email or Google Drive. Assistance with printing can be arranged, as well as any stationary or branding design needs. File Types: Upon completion of the logo design process you will receive a logo, alternative logo, submark in EPS format (vector artwork), as well as a few smaller JPG and PNG images that can be used right away on the web. All logos we design will come in full color (unless Pantone colors are requested up front), solid black, and solid white. If you have requested your logo to include a tagline, you will also receive copies of the logo both with and without the tagline present.
