Working with Jedadiah is great. He brings a high level of knowledge to the table and is able to communicate ideas in a way that is easy to understand. I appreciate that he is willing and able to explain the 'why' behind the instruction that he gives. He constantly challenges me while still being supportive and encouraging. He always welcomes my ideas and is willing to listen and consider them when they conflict with his. I feel that working with Jedadiah is like a partnership working together to improve my skills and understanding. Jedediah created a magnificent custom piece for me to present to my husband for his birthday. I didn’t know what image I wanted, I only knew what emotions I wanted the painting to invoke. Giving Jedadiah only a vague idea, he hit the nail in the head. I laughed out loud when I first saw it and it caused my husband to burst into tears and claim it would be one of his prized posessions. It truly touches the spirit. On top of being able to gather inspiration from my garbled request he also managed to find me the best deal on shipping. All the way from Arizona to Virginia it arrived in perfect condition. I truly appreciate the attention he showed to an out of state customer. Our minds are already churning with new requests of this talented and professional artist.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
my base rate is $40 an hour + travel expenses. I also offer multi hour rates, group discounts and referral options.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually, i ask what it is they want to learn and get an idea of their personality. First lesson is fundamental and i typically observe my student work. I take note of their skills and habits to design a program that suits their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken workshops and lessons in art going back to elementary school. I studied sculpture and drawing in college, where I received a BFA as well as oil painting and illustration after graduating.
