I was in absolute pain and Tamara did an extraordinary job. She had me up and about in no time. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs pain relief or just a good deep relaxing massage. She is an amazing licensed massage therapist.Mar 5, 2015Verified
It was my mother's 90th Bday and My father decided he would surprise her with a massage! Not only was Tamara a true professional, she also took the time to make sure my mother was comfortable and relaxed before the massage began! My mother was in absolute Heaven after Tamara finished. I will refer Tamara to all I come into contact with! We feel soo thankful to have found her. Tamara gave 190% and we will use her again and again:)Nov 12, 2015Verified
Incredible therapist! Tamara is always on time, professional, brings her own table, comfy linens and music. She's quick to reply to set up appointments. She's a dog lover! All natural massage oil, expert touch and always knows just what I knead!Nov 2, 2015
License Type: Massage Therapist (AZ)
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? As a mobile massage therapist I have a flat rate for 60, 90, or 120 minutes. Pricing for hot stone massage, and massages requested before 10am and after 7pm incur an additional fee. There is no additional traveling fee, unless a client lives outside of my 20 mile travel radius. I offer package pricing, as well as everyday discounts.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Continuing education is a necessity in this field and is also required by the state of AZ to renew your license. I am required to have 24 continuing education credits for the state of AZ every 2 years. I am also certified as well through the National Certification Board of Therapuetic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) who also require 24 credits every 2 years to maintain your national certification.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I decided to go into the field of massage therapy after witnessing a family member suffer from long term back pain, associated with a degenerative disease. I would massage her back for her before I had even been to school or thought of massage as a career. The look of relief on her face and the overall shift in well being, was enough to let me know massage was the path to pursue.
