When I first started CrossFit I was on the “chicken and greens” diet. Literally, that is all I ate. I thought that was “the way” to slim down: eliminate carbs and cheese and all the good stuff. Yet I was working really hard every day and CrossFit was kicking my butt. I would kill myself working out 4 to 5 days a week but nothing was changing and my body remained the same. I was tired, lethargic, and losing muscle definition. That’s when I spoke with Hannah. She customized a meal plan to fit my lifestyle and took the guesswork out of the process. At first I thought this was going to be overwhelming – counting calories, eating dull foods and spending hours in the kitchen. But it’s so easy! And, man, did my taste buds get a wakeup call. The food is amazing! I even get ice cream, pizza and chocolate. I am not deprived in any way. Hannah is always there to support me and is quick to respond and accommodate on the fly. Over the next few weeks I gained energy, slept better, and my performance levels increased, reaching new PRs week after week. I’ve leaned out and gained muscle definition. And within four months I’ve lost more than 20 pounds, 11% body fat and over 20 inches. I’m now down to 14% bf! I’m now able to push myself harder than ever before. I’m back to living a fit, active lifestyle, and have mastered obstacles like Flat Iron and Picacho Peak, rock climbing in Colorado and running my first Spartan race. My journey is not over – I still have a ways to go, but my goal was to gain strength – both inside and out, and I’m definitely on that path! Bring on the next challenge! Where to start and what to say.. in 10 months I have transformed from the inside out. I am literally half the person I used to be and I have become the person I never really thought I could be. I’m happy, healthy and ready to continue to get better and Hannah was with me every step of the way. Once at the back of the pack, I now run with the leaders at our gym and work every day to get better, faster and stronger by choosing foods and meals that fuel me forward towards growth. I’m the person who heats up the same, weird smelling (but super delicious) food every day and it doesn’t faze me because I’m fueling my body and my mind. I took the time, spent the money and learned a new skill set for life and I owe it all to Hannah. Her commitment to me and unwavering support is what made the difference. Her program is totally customized to the person depending on your individual needs and goals. If something wasn’t working she was quick to adjust to help correct. There were and are no dumb questions, no detail too small and she paid close attention to how the nutrition was affecting every other aspect of my life to ensure everything was running smoothly. I selected the full program because I needed the accountability, the pep talks, the daily check ins and the support for my mid-week meltdowns without judgement. With a supportive smile that said, yes you can and its okay! I didn’t have to be embarrassed if I had a setback because she helped me prepare a plan to make it up moving forward. I prepared all the meals, cut back on the booze and set mini goals for myself, really never believing I would able to transform in to the person she said I could become or accomplish anything I have this year. In 1 month I lost 10lbs, by the end of the 2nd month I had lost 20 and by the end of 10 months I lost 45 lbs of fat, 20% body fat, and gained 4 lbs of muscle. I did this while eating delicious and fufilling meals full of protein, fats, carbs including pizza and ice cream! I can honestly said I never felt deprived while being able to see considerable gains in my workouts each and every day. I am someone who passes on happy hour, cookies in the potluck and brings my own meals on business trips and I am 100% okay with those decisions. I have the developed the self-respect to prioritize myself first and I really believe everyone should do this for themselves, because the time I have dedicated to myself this year has made me a better colleague, friend, wife and mother and I have found that those around me then seem to thrive themselves. I’ll end with this, I recently went in to a store and picked out 4 different styles of jeans in my new size (half of what I used to be) and I still felt the anxious nerves as I tried to put them on and pull them up. Cue all the negative thoughts and assumptions: there is no way those will stretch around my hips, can I even secure the button, will my stomach hang over the front? It brings tears to my eyes because every single pair fit my new body and for the first time, I was able to pick the pair that I liked the best, not just the pair that looked the least bad. I hope I never lose appreciation for my hard work and for my new life that Hannah was so instrumental in designing. Make the decision to work with Hannah, you will not regret it.Nov 14, 2019
Not only was Hannah amazing at what she does, but she is super responsive to your needs and is very professional. Just within a week of starting her program I started to feel more energized and less bloated. She really opened my eyes to nutrition and how impactful it is in order to reach your goals. Sticking to her meal plan was not difficult because the meals were delicious and she made sure to add in food you enjoy. After a couple of months with working Hannah I dropped over 4% body fat (starting at 22.4% and ended at 18.1%) and was given tools I could use for a lifetime.Nov 13, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?A typical meal plan is $185 monthly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I start by doing a complete nutritional assessment, in order to establish the best plan for the individual
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have worked clinical nutrition for 2 years at St Peterson RMC in Texas. I also have my NASM in sport nutrition, and bachelors in nutrition dietetics.
