Dorrenda and her staff were very helpful and worked very hard to provide the best wedding reception! We had a few minor hiccups, but overall it was a great party and the service was very good. I would recommend the DC team and use them again.
We hired Carlyn as our florist and day-of coordinator for our March 14th wedding. Best decision ever! Carlyn was attentive and easy to coordinate with. She responded quickly to emails and calls and worked with our schedules for meeting to discuss details. We didnt have a full color scheme when we started, which could have been frustrating for a florist. But Carlyn was so patient and found the most beautiful colors to pull everything together. She knew our budget and was straightforward about what we could do for that amount. We prioritized bouquets, centerpieces, and other arrangements, as well as the flowers we wanted, which was really helpful. Day-of was incredible. We didnt have to worry about a thing! When she dropped off the bridal party bouquets we couldnt believe how pretty they were. When we arrived at the venue and saw the centerpieces and overall setup we were blown away. It was exactly as I had pictured it even better. We couldnt believe it. We have received so many compliments for the outstanding job she did. Carlyn is one of the most passionate people I have ever met. She takes so much pride in her work and its incredibly important to her to make her clients happy. We couldnt have asked for a better experience before, during, or after our big day. Thank you Carlyn! We couldnt have done it without you!
We couldn't have been happier with the service and food provided by Chef Alice and Hob Nob Catering. A 25th Anniversary party at our home and dinner for 40 - delicious trays of pre-dinner appetizers - and festive displays on all the tables. Our guests loved the food, and everything was on schedule, working in sync with the flow of the party and keeping everyone stocked with food and drinks. The Hob Nob team provided so much of the cleanup that we had very little left over to do the next day. We will DEFINITELY call Chef Alice for anything we do in the future!

I found Sheila just a few weeks before my event (a nautical themed going away party) and she was happy to help, even at such short notice. It was a party of about 35 guests and Sheila made my day that much easier so I could just relax and enjoy the party! I was looking to do something along the lines of hawaiian bbq and she put together a great menu of apps and entrees, including corn salsa, volcano shrimp, pork sliders, bacon wrapped pineapple, hawaiian fried rice, pineapple ham, and teriyaki chicken. The presentation was great, including an amazing goat cheese and pecan dip in the shape of a pineapple! Everything was so delicious... every single guest asked where the food came from and raved about how good it was. On top of all that, Sheila went above and beyond and provided some decor. Each food item had hand made anchor name tags and the sliders had adorable anchor picks through them! There were also super cute decorated mason jars to fit the theme with hand sprayed flowers in them. It just made everything that much more special! I would absolutely recommended Sheila to anyone! She is more than willing to work with you and create a great experience that is personalized exactly to what you want and need.
I had Sweet P’s cater my sons twelfth birthday party and it was an immediate hit! I’ve Never had such good ice cream catered by such joyful people before. Also the ice cream cart was cuter than conceivably possible. No more Ben and Jerry’s for this guy
Working with Desert Vines Events was such a fantastic experience. I was an out of town bride who had to do a lot of coordinating and planning from a distance. Having Desert Vines at my disposal for brainstorming sessions, errand running, venue scouting, flower arranging and everything in between, was such a blessing. They really are a one stop shop, taking care of everything from A to Z. They hand crafted and created a dessert table to die for, decorated a 10,000 square foot rustic barn (inside and out) and managed the guest gift bags at the hotel. I am also the type of person who has been planning this day for years and years and knew exactly what I wanted for the big day. Desert Vines not only carried out my every wish to perfection but also made very helpful suggestions along the way that only a professional in the event planning industry would know. Based on a recommendation, from a friend, we hired Tiny Maven to plan my daughters birthday party. In less than two weeks, they were able to create a beautiful party at a local petting zoo/farm (not an easy task!). Since that time, we have hired the team for two more parties.
