Diana Spanish Tutor

Hola! My name is Diana, I’m originally from Ecuador, but I was college educated here in the US. During college I was a Spanish speaker resident assistant. I taught Spanish to my roomates and alI of them speak fluent Spanish now. I am a certified Spanish Immersion elementary teacher and I have taught 2nd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade. In Latin America, I had a successful simultaneous conference interpreter career. I have passion for teaching my mother tongue and conveying information across cultures and languages. I decided to put my teaching and translator skills together to offer my Spanish lessons. My focus is engaging lessons, immersion, and lesson planning. I was worried when my son started speaking only in English to me. I tried speaking Spanish at home all the time so he will learn. I created a curriculum for my son to speak more Spanish. He was only 3 and didn’t know how to read or write yet. We’ve been consistent all this time and all of the sudden he started speaking Spanish to our last trip to Ecuador.
