(Provided the owner does work with the dog at home on a regular basis). My work is very rewarding, the Dogs have always gotten trained. And this hard work for everyone concerned, builds a bond and creates harmony in the home for the whole family.

I rescued a fifteen pound Poodle mix from the shelter five years ago. He came to me with many issues, severe separation anxiety was the greatest concern. I signed "Henry" up for dog training at my local Petco, Lori was our dog trainer. She was so patient and kind to myself and Henry. She really addressed Henry's separation anxiety issues and was very thorough and persistant in that area. Henry's separation anxiety was so extreme that Lori recommended we attend a behavior institute. She was always ready to go above and beyond her normal scope of duties as a dog trainer. Every time Henry and I visited Petco we were greeted by Lori with a smile and lots of affection and concern with how Henry and myself are doing. Lori truly has a heart for animals and especially dogs. She is a wonderful and effective dog trainer.

Lori is great to work with! My 6 year old collie was lunging and barking at cars, trucks and golf carts and I was at my wits end. Lori came over to my house to see my dog in her own environment. We set up a 6 week program. With Lori's help I learned to take control of my dog Mariah. Our walks are much more enjoyable for both of us now. She still barks but I now know how to control her behavior by recognizing the trigger signs. Lori suggested changing Mariah's collar to one that stayed around her neck much better (collies have a very narrow head). This was the most important part of the training for me because I had tried so many different collars. I highly recommend Lori as a wonderful dog trainer! She is great to work with and definitely knows what she is doing. She is a true professional and is kind and has a lot of patience. After all, it was really me who needed the training the most!

Lori is really good with dogs and understands their behavior. She is reliable and trustworthy, both of which are extremely important to my husband and I. I highly recommend Lori for any dog training/pet sitting/check ins that you may need.

Lori did a great job taking care of my three crazy mutts for several days. She preformed as promised and kept me apprised about the dogs. I now know I have someone I can trust to dogs sit when needed.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to have consistent pricing but with inflation and paying for gas it can vary at times.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk to the person on the phone. Before we even formally meet. Just so I can get a feel for what the person may need ahead of time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had two years of dog training school. Where I learned a lot from reading books, listening to and going to seminars and hands on training with shelter and rescue dogs. As well as working in a cage free doggie daycare where anything can happen.
