Bruce was extremely helpful for my pup, Bruno, and myself. Bruno has been having aggression issues since I rescued him from the pound a couple months ago. Bruce helped me out when I first adopted Bruno and gave me valuable pointers on how to handle his unusual behavior. When Bruno started exhibiting more aggressive behavior and was not improving, Bruce came back out to help us a second time, free of charge. I am extremely helpful for everything he has taught us and I cannot wait to see improvement with my pup. I would recommend Bruce for everyone, because he not only knows a lot about dogs and their behavior, but he also is a very friendly and engaging trainer. He teaches us how to handle our dogs' behavior so that we can continue to train while he is not present. Bruce showed me that he truly cares about my pup's well-being, as well as my own. He is great!
K9Katelynn has helped me and my dog tremendously! After rescuing her about a year ago and never having a bigger dog before I didn't realize how different it would be. I was not used to having something so big to control and knew I couldnât do it on my own. I also had extremely high anxiety about her being around other dogs and it was deterring me from being able to take her for walks outside or let her socialize at the dog park because I was too nervous as to something bad happening, whether it be to her or to another dog. Tom has been extremely patient and thoughtful through our entire training process and reassured me every step of the way. I've found that her mastering 'simple' commands has made her a more obedient and calm dog all around, even when we are not training. She used to jump all over me, pull the leash, lick incessantly, etc. but with the help of K9Katelynn I now have the confidence and education to correct her behavior when necessary and I think our relationship has strengthened through the process. I have come to understand that I am as big an influence on my dog's behavior as she is so it was just as important for me to listen to the plan and by following everything he said we both have come a long way. He was always on time, was always flexible with my schedule and always available to answer my questions via text even if it was during the week when we were not in a scheduled session. I felt he really went above and beyond to help understand how I was feeling about certain issues and how we could work through them in a way we were all comfortable with. I really liked how he went out of his way to get to know me as a person as well as bond with my dog, it made me feel like he really cared about our success and wasn't just worried about the paycheck and whenever we were 'done' he was done whether he felt we were ready or not. I can't thank him enough and I can't say enough good things about K9Katelynn! :)
I hired Nate after another trainer left my house running! I have a 3 month old golden retriever who I'm pretty sure is the devil's spawn:) Nate was recommended by a friend when she heard me complaining about her behavior. When I first called him to make an appointment, he spent about 30 minutes on the phone with me giving me tips on how to control my puppy. Nate has an amazing understanding of animal behavior and is so passionate about what he does. During his first visit, by dog was sitting by his side acting like an angel in about 5 minutes. It was amazing. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. I recommend Nate to anyone with bad pet behaviors. As hard as you might try, you cant do it yourself!
My dog Sammie would bark at then jump up at anyone that would come to the door (including my mom with a new hip). Elisa got him to stop that behavior, and even got him to stop going for the trash. I would definitely recommend Elisa to anyone who needs a trainer and a dog lover for their "spirited" pet!
Kimberly came to my home to help me with my two dogs (puppy and older dog) that seemed to be not getting along. She was willing to do an assessment and she gave me amazing feedback as to dog behavior that I did not understand. She was great at interpreting the problem and offered a wonderful solution that is already starting to work. I would highly recommend Kimberly for dog training.
Anita was fantastic!!! I was very nervous leaving my babies with someone, besides family for the first time and Anita walked me through it. She exceeded every one of my expectations by leaps and bounds. My girls loved her!!! She took them for walks, catered to their special diet needs, gave there medications as needed, did behavior training with my anxiety ridden one and physical therapy with my older one. She left the house cleaner than when she found it and sent me pictures/video updates every day. As nervous as I was her caring and attention to detail helped me get through it. She even wrote down the commands I use with them to keep it the same. My girls loved her from the first time the met her, and they are the true judges!:-) I will certainly use her from now on!! I cant even imagine leaving my girls with anyone else!
She is a great asset to my family. She cares a lot for animals. My dog was diagnosed with liver failure, and has to be fed four times a day. Beth comes over to walk him two to three times a week. My dog Bogey loves it when she comes over. Beth is there for us, even if it is last minute. I can call her an hour before if there is a problem with me getting home in time. We just love her and trust her fully with my baby.
Cat is amazing!!!! She has helped us with multiple dogs. Every time -she has not only trained our dogs but also taught us how to continue getting the good behavior out of our dogs. You can tell she genuinely cares about our dogs. We couldn't have don't it without the help from Cat! I would definitely recommend her! She has become part of our family!
Being new to dog ownership and the "dog world" I was skeptical about training in general. I knew I didn't want some kid from petsmart training me dog but at the same time I wasn't looking for someone who was an elitist and looked down on me for not knowing much about training. I found hunter canine on thumbtack kind of at random. Andrew called me and thoroughly answered all my questions and concerns. The price was fair and comparable to other professional trainers I had inquired about. Having just completed beginner obedience I can say that these guys are great. It's obvious from the minute you start class that Andrew and Chad are passionate about what they do. The facility is amazing, it's big, it's clean, and the trainers are knowledgable and helpful. In just 8 short weeks we've seen massive changes our dogs behavior. The class objectives are clear and the trainers are always attentive to any issue you may have with your dog during class. Even in the group classes the trainers still provide ample one on one time with each dog and their handlers. We enjoyed the class so much that we have enrolled our dog in the CGC prep class and plan on doing more training in the future. I would recommend Hunter Canine to anyone looking for training, if you show up to class and do your part (practicing what you've learned) you won't be disappointed...
We are so pleased with Spot On Obedience Training. During our first session we were given tips that have already been implemented and made a huge difference in our interaction with and our dogs' behavior.
After speaking to Mary, I felt confident that she would take good care of my pet bunny, Geneva. She is VERY knowledgeable about animals and animal health, she seemed gentle and made a connection with Geneva easily. She was also quickly to respond and great about sending updates. I felt safe leaving my keys with her and she went out of her way to return them promptly. I will definitely hire her again in the future!
Brandy is amazing! Our dog requires a lot of patience and we couldn't ask for a more professional resource than Brandy. She is working with us to help make our business trips less stressful for our dog and she is persistent in her efforts to build a strong relationship with our dog. With our business travel increasing, 5 business week trips, yes that is correct, five weeks of trips on the books for the coming months so far... We are extremely thankful to have connected with Brandy.
I just love how she help me to get my dog to stay off of my little siblings and the other dogs too. I love how she has my little brothers be involved with the training. She is so good with dogs and I recommend her she will give you good tips
I really like working with Dianne. Her knowledge of dogs and their behavior is outstanding!. Her opinion on what's occurring in a given situation, albeit behavioral or developmental (like a growth stage), is invaluable. The tips she gives on what to do in order to support a happy and healthy person-dog relationship are very useful. I never feel as though our sessions are confined by a time limit, and the support she gives via phone, email, and text is exceptional. When Dianne says call, text, or email at any time with any question or concern, she means it and will quickly respond. I am in awe when I watch her work with my puppy, and I appreciate her patience in watching me 'attempt' to repeat her excellent execution in handling/training. I can see myself working with her throughout my puppy's lifetime, as Dianne's help has been a priceless investment.
Diana was excellent! I sent an email requesting more info on her website and in less than 24 hours she contacted me to setup a time to meet. When we met she was through and took notes about all the needs I had for my cat. She sent me pictures during my trip to help me feel more comfortable and kept me in the loop! This was my first time using an in-home pet care service and I highly recommend it. My cat didn't have to suffer through the stress of traveling, a new place and other animals. Diana was professional and I felt completely comfortable having her take care of my cat.
Although we are not very far in to our journey, I am learning so much about the needs of my pets and how my behavior effects their behavior. I feel as though Wolf is the perfect match for my boys and I feel confident that he will give me the tools to be a better person owner.
When I lived in Phoenix, I without fail used TLC to care for my cats while I was on vacation. In one instance, when I was seriously ill and in the hospital, Margie and staff came to my apartment and cared for my cats for 9 days on the spur of the moment. The staff is clean, experienced, courteous and Margie only hires caring animal lovers as staff. I would not hesitate to recommend TLC While You're Away to anyone in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area.
Naseem was a godsend to me when I needed her in an emergency! She picked up and delivered my precious girl. She is very good w/ animals and my cat was quite at home and comfortable with her. I highly recommend Naseem she is also a very sweet girl.
I went to take a tour of the school prior to having my training and I was very happy with how the staff treated me. Very friendly and helpful. Answered all my questions and was completely honest. And I think hats very important when it comes to working with animals. The facility was organized and clean. Which is awesome for me since I will also be boarding my pups there in the near future! I can't wait to start my training!! Thank you!
I would absolutely recommend Amy to my friends and family! Amy was extremely friendly and knowledgeable during our training sessions. She offered great feedback and different things I could try to correct some bad behavior. We are definitely on our way to a very well behaved dog!
I love animals. I grew up with dogs. I have two cats. I also have two dogs. Animals are of utmost importance to me!
