The job was to make me forget about my ex. Instead all he did was talk to me about his background and wanted me to schedule another appointment with him in a week.Nov 19, 2015VerifiedMichael A.'s reply
My notes indicate that we spent most of the session discussing the client's background. Clearly, however, we failed to connect meaningfully, for which I accept responsibility.
Great connection, intelligent and meaningful support.Oct 20, 2015Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Our standard rate is $150 for a 75 consultation or hypnotherapy intervention. However, to assure that our services are generally affordable, we follow a sliding scale for individual in-office and Skype consultations. A client's rate is between $75 and $150 per session, based on 0.15% of their annual household income, rounded up to the nearest $10. To figure out your rate, put down in thousands what your gross (pretax) annual household income is (your household income is the combined income of you and a spouse or a committed partner, but not a roommate, or of your parent or parents if you are still living with them); now state the same number in tens (for example, "sixty-three thousand" becomes "sixty three"); round it up to the nearest ten ("sixty-three" becomes "seventy"). If that number is less than 75, you pay $75 per session. If it's between 75 and 150, you pay that amount per session. If it's above 150, you pay $150 per session. DISCOUNTS FOR ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY, TEACHERS, AND FIRST RESPONDERS.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? An initial 90 minute interview in one of our offices (Scottsdale or Glendale) in which the client and I introduce ourselves and discuss the client's presenting issue and enough of the clients background and personal history for me to select an approach and make recommendations. I usually assess the client's hypnotizability, and we engage in an preliminary hypnosis session although this is sometimes deferred to a second session, depending on client needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Juris Doctor (law degree from LSU, 1975) Master of Science in Counseling Psychology (Capella University) PhD (Saybrook University, ABD) Certificate in Advanced Clinical Hypnosis (Saybrook University) Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (Wesland Institute, Tuscon) Certificate in Dream Studies (Saybrook University) Bachelor of Metaphysical Science (University of Metaphysics) Diploma in Metaphysical Practice (University Seminary, International Metaphysical Ministries)
