I really enjoy training with Chad. He makes working out fun. We learn martial arts while strengthening and stretching our bodies. Chad is very knowledgable and approaches training in an individual, thoughtful and careful manner. He has many options and ideas for varying the workout. He incorporates dietary changes as well. Chad is awesome!
Jerry is a dedicated and experienced personal trainer and brings goal setting upon completion of his assessment after your first workout. Over time as your achieve your goals ( mine were strength and overall conditioning after double knee replacement surgery).We have moved on to additional goals of weight loss and nutrition planning which we achieve by a combination of cardio kick boxing, daily boot camps ( the Saturday ones are special) and personal training sessions.
Results: Feel great, greater strength and balance, strong core and yes down 40 lbs.

This course is extremely informative and useful. Although I am female, and this course is most helpful to females, it is also full of tips, tricks and strategies men can use as well. The physical portion is easily adapted to the learners abilities, existing skill and knowledge level and does not require strength or previous martial arts experience. The moves are easy for anyone to learn and to utilize regardless of size or strength or skill level. Sensei is very good at teaching this information and very good at identifying strengths and weaknesses and helping the student overcome the weaknesses to better deliver the self defense moves. I have had previous martial arts instruction and feel that this instructor is very suited to that role and also very knowledgeable about the subject matter. United Martial Arts teaches a well-rounded Chinese Kung Fu curriculum with a strong emphasis on self defense and physical development. In our children's classes, we also stress character development and stranger danger.
As part of our curriculum, we teach various traditional Kung Fu forms and self defense techniques such as blocks, strikes, kicking techniques, joint locks, and throws. Students also can learn a variety of Chinese weapons, including broadsword, staff, and spear.
