Michele gave my kids piano lessons. She was energetic, enthusiastic and fun. She has a love of music that comes out as she teaches. She has extensive musical knowledge and loves kids. I highly recommend her as a piano teacher
Bobbi is already improving both my kids' voices in just a few lessons. She gives them strategies and confidence.
Ron is a great piano instructor. I am an adult with no musical experience. I started taking piano lessons from Ron about six weeks ago and I can already play some basic songs. He is a great teacher and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn how to play the piano.
Mary is an OUTSTANDING voice teacher! I love to sing but always with a choir. Now I am singing SOLO and am surprising myself. Mary has the AMAZING ability to paint a picture and in simple, understandable terms, describe the technique of voice sound and quality that are easy and understandable to apply. Mary is classically trained and WELL trained. Learn from the BEST! You'll love the lessons and you'll be singing even better in just a few lessons, too! ... It's all about the BREATH!
We have 2 boys new to piano lessons and they love it so far. Miss Laura is very good with them. They really look forward to going to their lessons. They seem to be picking it up fast. We are very happy customers!
Before our son began guitar lessons with Jeff, he got very good, competent lessons from other private instructors as well as those affiliated with the very impressive ASU music department. But Jeff’s individualized approach has been decidedly different. Recognizing that our 10 year old has areas of music that motivate him to stay excited and engaged, he always keeps the fun parts as the backbone of the learning process. This past weekend, he eagerly and proudly showed me the importance of knowing a variety of scales (major, minor, mixolydian, pentatonic, blues, etc.) and how he can use them to create music of his own. Talk about impressive! We can’t recommend Jeff more highly!
I would like to highly recommend Michelle Beckle to you as a piano and/or vocal teacher for your children. Michelle is very passionate about music. Her love for the art is evident in her enthusiastic and energetic teaching techniques. She is patient with all students and always encourages them to perform at their best. Although she is one of the best music teachers in the area, her prices are extremely reasonable. My two sons have taken music lessons from Michelle for the past sixteen years. She regularly organizes recitals for the students to perform in front of audiences. It is my great pleasure to recommend Michelle Beckle to you as a music teacher for your children. I am tremendously grateful to her for everything she has taught my sons and the joy their music has brought to our family.
John makes the lessons fun for my daughter and I plus he's super patient. This is the first time I have ever picked up a guitar.
Mike is a fantastic guitar teacher and friend! I've been taking lessons from Mike fro about 3 years and have come very far. He will teach you anything you want and motivate and help you along the way. You will enjoy Guitar Lessons from Mike in his awesme studio. He really is the best, people. Its not just a catchy name!
My son (6 years old) began taking lessons from Eddie about 9 months ago. I wondered if that might be too young to start formal lessons. I was forced to take piano lessons as a child, and it was not a great experience. Eddie has such a warm sense of humor and hospitality that he immediately put my son at ease. Eddie is truly gifted not only as drummer, but as a teacher. He is extremely creative and finds a way to connect with each of his students individually. We are incredibly thankful to have found a teacher who absolutely understands how to reach students of all ages and skill levels. He makes learning fun and is not afraid to stray from his lesson plan if you find a song you really want to learn. Eddie is the BEST!
I started lessons with Mary when I was 14 years old when I moved to Tempe and knew absolutely nobody. I came to her with prior knowledge, as I've been playing piano since the age of four, but I never received such a high-quality lesson from any other teacher. A lesson with Mary is more than a lesson, it's an experience. Upon meeting her, you can immediately feel the love she has for teaching passionate students and for music itself. She plays with expertise that transcends physical boundaries. She does her research to understand the composers' intentions behind every note. Her skills are unmatched. Mary and I have grown so close in the past two years, and I'm so glad I can call her my friend. She's made me a better musician as well as a better person.
My children have been taking lessons from Reggie for over three years. He is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher. He encouraged them to play many styles of music as well as their favorites. He made lessons fun and enjoyable. He highly recommend Reggie!
This service is great - I used to wait in my car trolling Facebook while my son had his piano lesson at his old studio. Now I get an hour and a half back every week while he works and I don't have to drive. Highly recommend Traveling Music Lessons. So much better than before.
My 7 year old daughter is loving her paino lessons and is learning so much this summer! We will be continuing lessons for the rest of the year. Highly recommend Blooming Cactus Music!!!
Dr. Jeff is a great teacher. We are doing piano lessons for my 6 year old son, and flute for my 9 year old daughter. He even helped me find inexpensive instruments for them. Dr. Jeff is very patient with my incredibly energetic and TALKATIVE kids, refocusing them when they get offtrack during a lesson. They both look forward to their lessons, so I think that says alot about his teaching methods and how much they like him. (I know many adults who tell me they hated their music lessons as kids) I try hard not to have to cancel their lessons, but on the occasion it does happen he has been very accommodating to reschedule if possible. I would recommend Dr. Jeff to anyone young or old, who is interested in learning an instrument.
I started taking piano lessons with Judyta at the beginning of my freshman year of music college. Having never taken piano before, she made concepts easy to grasp and when she noticed I was struggling she was very willing to take things slow. Besides the fact that she is very personable, she is sweet and easy to get a long with. She not only has knowledge about the piano but extensive knowledge about other instruments, theory, and history, all key points that makes a great musician.
I have really enjoyed my lessons with Dana. She is encouraging and supportive of my goals which is great. She is very enthusiastic and provides enough of a challenge without me feeling overwhelmed. I am very happy with progress and I think I will learn a lot from her.
I went to Bryan for a piano lesson--it was great! He was extremely patient and definitely knows his stuff. He was able to carefully and clearly explain challenging musical ideas to me. He also provided very practical tips that almost immediately improved my piano playing. When teaching, he is able to demonstrate even the most complex of techniques. The lesson was informative and well taught! None of my previous teachers even come close. I'll definitely be back!
"To me being an awesome guitarist and an excellent instructor are two different things. Somebody who is both is a genius in my dictionary. Fortunately for me, Michael is that rare genius and is extremely professional. I rate my instructors on the following characteristics: * Knowledge of, expertise, and enthusiasm for the subject matter and teaching * Good organization of subject matter and course * Effective communication * Positive attitudes toward students * Fairness in evaluation * Flexibility in approaches to teaching I am very picky about the quality of lessons I get. I have tried various instructors in the past, and some of them I couldn't continue with, for more than a couple of weeks. A few of them were good in teaching music that they know best, some were only good in certain genre. You throw anything at Michael (rock, metal, jazz, blues, funk etc.), and his ears will pick anything and everything within the human audible range. If its played in the record, (it will be on) your tab sheet. The music you will play is as accurate as it can get. Not only he writes accurate tabs, he can hear what effects are being used. His knowledge about audio engineering is vast too, and can help you achieve the tone you like the most. His gear recommendations are excellent. He is a great guitarist and his attention to technical details of playing is unmatched. His approach is very scientific to everything. If he is telling you something, believe me, there is a reason behind it. I can go on and on raving about his instructions and what he has to offer, and I am able to do this with utmost confidence because of the vast improvements in my playing style, my understanding of music and gear, and the ease at which I am able to play more complex music within a period of just 2 years. All in all this is a great product offering for a very decent price. Thanks Michael."
Our middle school son has been attending private 1hour drum sessions with Lou for a year now. Because of Lou, he was the youngest drummer to make the Jazz band cut. Lou is a solid teacher. Always on time and flexible to make up missed lessons instead of going without - which my son loves. Lou also has two drum sets, so if the students lesson session goes well, the last few minutes are trying out skills on the full acoustic sets together. We were referred to Lou by the Band Director at West Point because one of his students improved so much in a 6month time period, that he asked who his instructor was - and that's how we met Lou. His prices and policies are fair and, most importantly, our son doesn't want to go elsewhere after a year! 'Nuff said.
Vera is a wonderful teacher and mentor to my children. She is very organized, patient and friendly. She motivates them in a gentle and positive way which make them happy and excited to attend each session and to practice their piano lessons as well. I've seen remarkable improvement in my children's music ability as well as their grades and performance in school .
