Introduction: My lessons are very personalized, according to the needs of each student, regardless of age or level of experience. I am known for applying all reading and theory skills directly to music or songs that the student wants to play. For beginners, I cover all the basics for a strong foundation. I love teaching piano. My methods have grown and become polished so that the student is rewarded with fast results, which in turn is rewarding to me. For adults, regardless of experience, new worlds open up to you in areas such as classical, jazz, blues, pop, broadway, and the important theory to go with them. Children get the basics in a pleasant, "child-friendly" atmosphere.

I hired George to give my 13 yr old lessons. He has been an invaluable resource. My daughter has learned more with George in just a few lessons than all the class lessons and music school lessons combined. He is an excellent teacher and a genuinely nice guy. My first -of many to come- lessons was nothing but joy! He is talented beyond belief and knows how to convey his knowledge effectively. I have not played for many many years and wanted to get back into studying the piano. George did not make me feel stupid about anything, and he was completely encouraging and funny too. I am excited to continue lessons with him as often as I can. I encourage young and old to allow George to share his musical world with you. He is a wonderful gentleman with a wealth of knowledge ! You will not be disappointed!

My kids love taking piano lessons from George. My daughter is 13 and my son is 10. George is very patient and kind with my kids. They really enjoy their lessons with him. I usually stay and read a book. His place is very comfortable for all of us. I highly recommend George for any parent who's kids have interest in learning piano. Chris

I’m an adult learner who wanted to take piano lessons simply for my own enjoyment and to keep myself sharp. George has been exactly what I needed! He recognizes I’m a beginner, but doesn’t treat me like a child. His approach is song-based, so I’m learning things I enjoy. Finally, George is extremely personable and I really dig my time with him!
