FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Love of learning is one of my top 5 strengths (VIA strengths survey). So yes, I'm always curious, reading, and learning. I'll never stop.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease (a chronic inflammatory bowel disease) as a 16 year old. I learned transcendental meditation as a teenager and have always been a seeker of sorts - interested in spirituality, healing, and holistic methods of healing. Yoga and meditation resonated with me as a way to be more present, calm, and connected to my inner essence. I love teaching. I love coaching.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Chat to your potential provider on the phone or meet in person. Ask them questions that are important to you and trust your gut. Sometimes it's not the most impressive credentials or years of experience or price that are the most important quantities in a provider. Often it's finding a good fit, someone who 'gets' you and your concerns and has the requisite training and experience to be of service. Trust your gut.
