Melissa is an amazing personal trainer! When I met Melissa I was dealing with a minor knee injury and she was great at modifying moves as needed to accommodate the injury, yet still found ways to ensure a safe effective workout. I quickly recovered and am now stronger than ever. She reminds me often of proper form and it’s assuring to know how educated she is in that area so I can avoid further injury. I’ve been working with Melissa for 2+ months , for up to 3 times a week and look forward to each session. She keeps me accountable, motivated, and keeps track of my works for me. I have a horrible memory and attention span so it’s incredibly helpful having her to help count and keep track of the workout. I am guilty of not pushing myself hard enough in the gym when I am alone, so having her there for accountability and motivation is exactly what I need in a trainer. She is very punctual and does not judge me on my weak days. I look forward to each session, exerting myself and having fun doing it. Melissa is absolutely wonderful you’d be lucky to work with her. She knows what she is doing and truly helps you get the results you want. She works with any ones schedule. I am always impressed with her professionalism when it comes to her work outs and being able to get a hold of. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing is $20 per half hour session, $30 per hourly session. Can pay per session or for the total amount of sessions per month. Payments made for the entire month will receive one of those sessions for free.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Upon meeting a new client I like to talk about health and fitness history, do a brief assessment and discuss the clients goals. From there I will work with the client on a workout program and assist with any nutritional questions they may have.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a certified personal trainer, accredited through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am also current on my CPR/AED certification.
