Chris did an excellent job installing a custom fireplace mantel and tile surround in our new spec home. At no charge, he came out to Estrella Mt. Ranch to see and measure the wall and unfinished fire box. He gave us a detailed estimate on installation of a mantel, tile surround, mounting a big screen TV on the wall over the mantel including moving existing wiring, and building a custom media cabinet with shelving. Due to time and budget constraints, we only contracted with him to do the mantel and tile install. He did a terrific job at a reasonable price. We will use him again for other home remodeling projects in the future. He was always prompt with reliable communication either by phone or email. He worked out a schedule that was good for both parties. He was flexible and easy going, but very professional in the way he handled his business. Chris was one of only a few contractors interested in doing a fireplace job. He took great care getting the mantel style we wanted and a wood stain that matches our cabinets installed by the home builder. He also did a great job measuring and fitting the correct proportions for the mantel and mosaic tile surround. Our fireplace looks like a $5,000 upgrade at a fraction of the price.
