Desert Harbor Doberman Rescue of AZ is fortunate to be able to call on Cat to help a new rescue with a behavior issue. Currently, Cat is supervising a small team of volunteers in a program she designed to help one of our big males overcome fear-based defensive aggression directed at other large dogs. He is making noticeable progress every week. Cat has more than the knowledge, skill, and sensitivity to work with any canine. She has "the touch." Watching her transform eight raucous, jumping dogs into calm, attentive students within a few minutes is a lesson in the magic that happens when a dog senses real compassion, deep understanding, genuine affection, and inner confidence coming its way. All this and a sense of fun and play, too! Don't hesitate: Call Cat for your dogs.

I met Cat as a volunteer with a dog rescue organization and quickly learned to respect and value her evaluative and training expertise. She has a calm, confident, and loving demeanor that dogs respond to immediately. We adopted an adult, rescued Doberman that Cat had been instrumental in getting out of a shelter. She believed that he had great potential and was really a very sweet guy that just needed love, attention, and some training. Being a rescue dog we didn’t know his history or the root of socialization problems he had. Cat’s behavioral training helped us to understand the possible causes and she taught us techniques to help him relax and interact with other dogs more calmly. We’ve seen a marked improvement and as we continue working with her, I believe we’ll see more success with his issues. Cat is much more than a trainer; she puts you at ease and gives you confidence that you can succeed in working effectively to train and understand your dog.
