I contracted with Ideal Energy for a number of energy efficiency improvements after having an APS home energy audit conducted by Ideal's Elena, of which was extensive, professional and well explained (I had lots of questions).
The install team was really efficient and unobtrusive for how much work they performed of which included huge amounts of new insulation (and removal of the old), duct sealing as well a new variable speed pump for the pool.
The work spanned two days and the install team found areas of the attic I didn't know existed. All work was well explained as well photos provided of the nooks and crannies accessed for improvement. At the end of the first day, the houses AC air quality and movement was already remarkably improved. With the completion of the work, I found myself setting the AC higher than usual to achieve the desired comfortable level.
I feel it was money very well spent on the improvements and I did receive a rebate from APS. I would recommend that anyone looking into home solar, electric car charging, battery systems etc. to first start with a home energy audit. Ideal Energy is a company I would recommend and my experience was extremely positive with representatives of the company.
