Leah is great. She seems to have a passion and a gift to help people, along with a great skillset. Not your traditional massage, as she listens to what it is your struggling with and then uniquely responds to your needs. Can't rate her high enough.Sep 22, 2020Verified
This was one of the BEST massages I have ever had. She was very quick to get back to me and to get me booked in. She listened carefully to all of my concerns at the beginning of the treatment and worked on all areas that I had asked with intention. I felt so incredible afterwards - I loved the way she used her knowledge to incorporate stretching into the massage to help increase my range of motion. I would absolutely recommend seeing her for a massage!!Sep 20, 2020Verified
Leah is a very friendly woman and on top of having good conversations with she is exceptional at what she does. It truly was the best massage I have had. I walked in having pain with knots between my shoulder blades from hunching over at work and experiencing psychotic nerve pain, and when I left I was pain free. Thanks Leah, I will be coming back.Jun 27, 2020Verified
Best massage by a mile. Leah is very well educated with the human body and it shows with her technique. Flexibility and range of motion improved in one session. Highly highly recommend!!Jun 20, 2020Verified
Great work by Leah. My calves and arms were my focal points due to running and working out. The day following I worked out pain free. She was awesome and I will be back. :-)Jul 26, 2020Verified
License Type: Massage Therapist (AZ)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to sit down for the first 5 minutes and make sure I know about any injuries, surgeries, or chronic health conditions. I also like to know any activities you do regularly and the kind of work you do (at a desk all day or manual labor). By getting to know you it helps me as a licensed massage therapist to help serve you better.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Bachelor of Science in Physical Education/Secondary Education and a minor in Exercise Science. Yoga Teacher Trained 200 hours Master's Swim Coach I take about 30 Continuing Education Courses a year to learn more about the changing industry of massage.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I was also in a car accident; someone ran a stop sign. This was devastating because I was beginning my senior year of high school and looking for scholarships for swimming. It took months of rehab and I still was not able to get back to my speed. If I knew about massage therapy then, like I do now, I would have been on the table the following week. My goal is to help others get out of pain without going through more pain.
